I believe a significant factor to the quick success of this aquarium also has to do with the amount of healthy plants you started off with. Doing the same thing but with maybe a quarter amount of plants that were less than ideal in health would probably have a higher chance of algae outbreak. Speaking from experience. Perhaps this could be a video idea for your side-by-side experiment tanks to see the difference. Keep up the great work Jurijs!
great video and great tips. I'm just setting up a new aquascape currently and will give the dry start method a try. Also it'll take my local store a few weeks to order some tropica plants for me :) perfect timing! can't wait for your next video! great work!
Ты прав, когда смотришь на камень или на корягу или пролистываешь объявления в интернете и там тебе попадается красивый материал, то без сомнения нужно покупать. Делал так не раз! Потом при создании акваскейпа есть из чего выбрать)))
Hi. My second tank is ready for the new hardscape (iwagumi) and the darkstart method will follow. I believe that it will be the right way for a new beginning.
Hey! I know this is a really weird question be asked now. But I’m absolutely in love with ur 5n tank u posted several years ago and want to create something like it. You use the top of the line stuff for ur tank. But if I were to do something like it with a lower quality filter and maybe a regular co2 system rather than the Tropica co2 system how much do u think it would cost?
Hey there! Can you run the dark start method followed by dry start method (for carpeting plants and moss growth on hardscape)? Since the dry start won't invlove the filter, how should you maintain the benificial bacteria in the filter (developed during the dark start), till you're done with the dry start? Also, are there any other considerations to be made doing a dark start then dry start?
find a way to keep the beneficial bacteria in the filter alive, ie running on a different aquarium and remove as much water from the tank after the dark start as possible.
Hello Juris, i`m a brazillian aquascaper going to germany in december. Can you give me aquascape and aquariums store recomendation for me to visit? I will be in Hamburg and Berlin and have no problem going to other cities near by. Thank You

I like that idea! Noted! ❤
Nice, nice, nice... A Microbe Lift deep dive would be an excellent topic.
Noted! If more viewers request it I will ask ARKA for an interview and visit their HQ
One tank with and one tank without side by side comparison would be awesome
Appreciate the pro tip about never having enough hardscape. Had to share it with family.
They don’t have to know 😅
It looks amazing, loved the fish selection!
Thank you! Cheers!
The contrast of the colour of the stones and the plants is beautyful! Please dive deep into the topic of ARKA Microbe lift 😊
Noted!
Looks great. Been waiting for this video. Also just setup my aquascape using the dark start method with apt start and loving the results so far!
That is awesome!

I think its possible for less than 100 $
Let's do this jurijs 😊
What a beautiful tank jurijs congrats 🎊 did you change the water during the darkstart?
Maybe once, but only for the sake of filming it for the video. You really don’t have to. Just top up the evaporation

What do you think of the hyger light?
hyper spot led?
Looks fantastic!!! What is the product that you use to automatically stop the water flowing in when refilling the tank? Thanks :)

Leider war dosiocelatta nicht verfügbar, es ist aber ohne Zweifel ein toller Fisch und war auch mein Favorit
Just make sure you open your windows before opening the Special Blend 😂.
