Really like your videos. What do you recommend for an all season tire using the stock rims? Really prefer to not give up the stock look and red center cap. Seen some recommendations for Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+, but some say those get loud and maybe not great tread-life. Also have seen Bridgestone Potenza Sport AS. Looking for something that can hopefully handle snow decently too. Was thinking of even maybe going to a 255/40R19 size, because that adds Michelin CrossClimate2 to the choices. I realize the speedometer will be off, but do you think it would mess up how Honda does TPMS or traction control?

Definitely a more connected driving experience, but it won’t be quite as luxurious or fast in a straight line
What do you dislike about the IS500 that makes you want to change it (if you do want to change it at all)? That would help clarify things.
@@TassieLorenzo mostly the lack of a manual and not its automatic transmission itself.
Also, it is a bit soft around the corners. Meaning some confidence is lacking due to that softness and weight.

I used to have a 2004 IS300 manual and 2000 S2000 and I didn't miss the luxuries of today, but I did enjoy the IS300 more than the S2000.

I have a manual S3 8V saloon. I've been close to upgrading to an FL5 for over a year but living in the UK its hard to sacrifice the AWD (ish) capability.
Based on my experience with a GC8 WRX, AWD is too easy. It's not really fun comparing to managing 2WD traction. 🙂 At least for a stockish powered car (my GC8 was a VF34 turbo at around 280bhp at the engine, about 1270kgs), no wonder Golf and S3 drivers need to tune their cars up to 400-500+ hp to have any fun!
And neither of them have the vicious front end that this car does. I've owned both a Mk7.5R and FL5 so I speak from experience. Both fantastic cars but the Honda is dynamically superior.

I haven’t had any overheating issues on track. I’m not running in 90-100° temps, but still really happy with the stock cooling
