This is just a quick how to setup YOUR S22 out of the box for best comfort and basic knowledge of the stock shock .

Just what I needed.
I did my first full face plant today. Surprised by a set of stairs I didn't know about.
Bouncing down one foot vibrated off the pedal.
Also need to look at power pads. The stock pads are way too wide.

totally agree with the slider "dirt issue", i had my s22 for a month now and i ride almost everyday on pavement, dirt and sand etc and my sliders are still clean, i guess some people created this fake issue that aren't really an issue at all, they just want to give more negative points to kingsong because lets admit it, ever since that 1 fire with the prototype the begode fanboys are all out calling it phoenix as if the Ks22 are having fires left and right.
Some day we will see proof of someone's slider sthat are actually bad, all I've seen are "fixes" so far
well if i don't clean my sliders then it feels like it sticks.
Wouldn't a little grease handle it? It would absorb the dust/dirt pretty well.

I person changed the spring to a 160 kg....PS, I went all the way to 114 kg spring and yes it still sucks...now to get to the slides replaced...
It's ok over speed bumps, but tree roots and pot holes... It does nothing for me... Maybe I have too high expectations for suspension....
PSS, I do want your upper pads...If I had the money....
I'm 6'4 and skinny.
Would I be able to sit on this comfortably with your seat configuration?

Link for the shock is in the description of the video. Link for the coils is not because they are sold out, however the coils are in my coil video.
I recently received my S22 from Free Motion shop. They say it is the model with the "improved motor" I asked them if that means it's the pinned motor and improved bms. They replied we ship with the improved motor but didn't directly answer my question. The motor number starts with the ZX. Any info how I could verify if the motor is safe from that stator slipping issue. Thanks!
If the date in the serial # is after mid/late July 99% likely it's pinned. New bms probably not because thos batches haven't arrived yet to my knowledge. My V1 s22 has had 0 issues with motor board or batteries and it's a early July dates zx motor. I was provided a new 4kw motor but haven't installed it yet or even looked at it

Connect to the slider replace the rubber.
I have stock shock with 350lbs 190mm spring (compressed to mount). My ride-weight is 175lbs. I have not bottomed the shock with 300 miles including 3' drops, trails, and road-pot-holes. Check my channel for vids. I still can't get it to be "floaty" but it is softer. I've had issues with the slider friction and cleaned out the grease. Currently using 3 in 1 oil and intending to go to silicone spray when the order arives in a few days.
