- Welcome back to my channel! Today is all about getting things done, and I'm excited to share my progress with you. In this video, I'm installing the VEVOR Auto Gate Motor that I've been waiting to get my hands on. I've been eagerly anticipating this moment, and I'm eager to see how it performs.
I won't lie, the installation process was a bit challenging at times. But with some perseverance and a little bit of help, I managed to get the motor up and running. And let me tell you, it's a game-changer. No more struggling with heavy gates or manual opening and closing - this motor does all the work for me.

Hey Cody, bought the gate opener after wstching your vid. Its up and working now. BTW, did you manage to get the gate resistance to work? Dip switch 4 is on and I turn POT in both directions, gate does not stop when I push against it. Cheers

Awesome man - I have the old Smart Slider (now closed down) gate system. My garage doors are on the same remote as the gate, so I hope this motor (looks very very similar - circuitry and mounting) So im hoping i can incorporate the garage opening module into an AUX port on the circuit board. I have been eyeing these off for a few months, as ours is slowly dieing...

Good job, I reckon you could use that in ground power to easily run a intercom/securitycamera at the front gate aswell.
I currently have the ring camera but I gotta take it down to charge so good idea

Great video mate I just installed the same motor supposed to have WiFi but I can't see a wifi board in it. Instructions are shit how did you set your wifi? Any information would be greatly appreciated .

Hey mate the board is located directly to the left of the program buttons for the Remotes. You will need to download a app eWeLink I think it’s called and there is 2 buttons side by side to program it. The app is a bit temperamental but once you get it working you can just use the Alexa app. Send me a message on instagram and I can send you some photos if my gibberish is a bit hard to understand. 🤙

Hi how did you attach the end magnet sensors? My neighbor didn't get proper screws or they misplaced it...what type of screws are drilled into the rail?
The screws supplied where a bit poor so I drilled it out and used rivnuts and bolted them

Yea mate she’s still going strong. Only painful part is the app but ones it’s set up you can just use the Alexa app and it works better. Or just the buttons it comes with.

are the limiters magnetic and if so have you had any issues, hows it work in the snow?
Limiters are magnetic, I had one case where a roller came off the track and it didn’t stop (no damage just chewed the corner of the plastic gear). It doesn’t snow here so I couldn’t tell you

Hi mate - great work. Installed one myself and it's going well. But I lost the instal manual and forgot how to pair remotes ... anyone know what I do - hold the learn button for a few second and then press button on remote ?
I believe that’s correct, only press the pair button quickly otherwise it will forget the other ones

@@sickpuppycody interesting that I have the Vevor 600kg automatic door opener and doesn't have it built in or at least I don't know about it.
Mine mentioned it in the instructions and I had to download an app, link it to the wifi then it was available in my Alexa app. I can’t exactly remember every detail it was a while ago now. It’s still working great tho

Just mount it on the lower part of the gate so it passes the motor when you need it to stop. If your still stuck send me a message on instagram and I’ll send some videos

You can make Alexa actually open the gate with “open the gate”
Go to Alexa bottom right click more- click routines- create new routine
Routine name “gate command”
“When this happens: select when I say a phrase”
Write down the phrase you want to say,
Then finally select action and select your device
Hope this helps helped me out with my garage heaps
