You can often get a lower price on hotel rooms, in many countries.
After they tell you the nightly rate, ask if they can give a discount.
Often they will say yes immediately.

I liked the banana sellers. They were honest and genuine. They didn’t want to scam you. I’ve visited BD. One of the most beautiful countries to visit. The glasses you got a raw deal. Sort of rates we wouldn’t even pay in the UK or US. The Hotel was hard bargaining but you got a reasonable deal.
The “Orange” beards are people using henna as hair dye for greying hair when the improvised hair dye goes through a few washes it turns orange like so Collin can see!
Also some people get allergic to color dyes so they just use the organic way
