I'm going there next week and was looking around for some tips travelling in Phuket before stumbling upon your video. Thank you for pointing out the areas and the estimated price one would expect when buying these knock-offs.
Thanks for watching. Yeah, about 30 bucks for the well-constructed kicks. Find the real ones you want in the mall if you can first and pick them up to feel how they are made, how heavy the material is. Some of the fakes are built well. Others feel like cardboard haha. Have fun it's an exciting place!
@@FollowBrando I will take note of the quality before purchasing. Definitely not those 'cardboard' quality type.. What about watches? Are there any good quality ones or should I just stick to my trusted Casio.
@@sujak84 I stuck to budget watch brands for a few years. An Invicta from Amazon for $70 (the band broke after a year) and an Alba from Duty Free for $50 (I broke the glass after a year). So I just bought this knock off Rolex at this market in Vietnam for $100, only because the shop can repair it for me if need be (also the hand sweeps and it's solidly made): ua-cam.com/video/zxAWwtQq2Bk/v-deo.html
@@Daniel-ll2clI didn't get any because the quality is not as good as I thought it was. But the people are nice and friendly. I enjoyed their food instead..
Yeah been meaning to do a follow up. I left the air Jordans back in Saigon and I'm in Bangkok so I won't have them for another 3 weeks. They are well made and holding up nicely. It's about feeling the quality difference at the market and the heft of the materials. I'll do another fake market video about quality here in Bangkok and a short follow up with the Air Jordans in a few weeks.
The Thailand markets in general seem to be a bit cheaper. I don't think I would have negotiated the Air Jordan's down to under $30 in Saigon. They had the same quality pair and wanted 1,200,000 vnd or about $50. A lot of Viets go to Thailand to buy wholesale clothes and try to sneak them back to Vietnam for resale.
I don't mind letting these people make a few extra bucks if they are willing to go on camera with me. I think it's a fair deal. I have a real job I do remotely and waste way more money on girls, drugs and alcohol. So...
@@FollowBrando bangkok phuket koh samuai pattaya...think it could be my 13th time don't tell anyone 😉 on bahtering I just give them a price I'm willing to pay I don't budge. If they so no I walk off plenty more stores around 9/10 they bring u back
@@slickrik6666 Don't stay in Bangkok too long haha. Like a long weekend is probably enough for a guy that can go many times. It's so f-ing crazy and fun. Like Las Vegas.
Minor piracy is and has been very common in Asia for decades if not longer, glad you have found that out.

@11:24 you were staring at a pair of dior’s lol
Theres a dior jordan 1 on the first shop you went at the beginning of the vid
Yeah I missed it while filming but found a few shops with them. The Jordans I bought have help up nicely. They're well constructed for $30!
Going here in a month and cant wait, keep up the videos bro
Thanks! You will have a great time whatever brand of fun you're looking for. It's like Bangkok with a beach.
@@FollowBrando Thanks, how many good shoe stalls would you say there?
In Bangla Street from where cab we get geniune shoes and good quality cothes
I'm going back next year and getting a suit made.
Thanks for sharing. Very informative!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can you post a video of your current fake air Jordan shoes?

Is the fake market in Bangla cheaper then the one in Vietnam?

I would be concerned about the tailor as he is wearing a shirt that doesn’t fit

He has a responsibility he says ? First if you wear that hat in my city you you get slapped ! Knock Offs Stop It !

LOL I got some shoes from there a few years ago.
How are they holding up? I'm still wearing mine. They are in good shape and getting compliments.
Cheers mate.
