Laura my Aunt is 95 and her lifelong neighbor just turned 90, Garden Answer videos are their”garden club” dinner entertainment every Sunday night. Thank you so much for bringing such cheer to all of us ✨❤️✨
This is the sweetest comment I’ve read in a long time ❤️❤️
That is so sweet!
Love it!
That's so sweet 🤗
Love this! Wow 95! What a wonderful blessing!
"Did I end the video?" Laura, you make me smile! Nice to see Aaron, too, and so nice to hear you brainstorming projects together. I especially enjoy seeing the developing of your property. Even though we are in our 70's, my husband and I are starting a very mini version of your property. It is super exciting and so satisfying. Thanks to you both for all the inspiration!
What a neat idea! To echo her plan in small scale!
My hubby loves that Aaron talks so much more in the videos now lol 🤣 GUYS! 🤦🏻♀️💪🏽
Loved the pitter patter of Laura's feet placing the lavender where she wanted! LOL!
I love these videos full of all the random things on Laura's garden to-do list. Our gardens are full of these things too and I always end up learning something. Love that.
"Good Afternoon, Good Evening, and Goodnight"! Aaron cracks me up!
Hey, guys, how's it going? That is absolute music to my ears and the perfect way to start a new week! ~Margie
Lol. Since Benjamin picked up on it and started saying it, it got in my head. I now say it to my dog happily right before I press play.
@@lissyadams6497 OMG same! I'm also in the UK and was so confused for a while! 😂😂
@@lissyadams6497 I'm in Richmond near London. So looking forward to better weather around here. 🌞🌞
You all are so sweet and so inspiring! Thank you so much for all the work you do and that you show it to us.
@@lissyadams6497 I live in the Northeast USA we say it with an A as in apple sound too like UK.
It's great that Aaron wants his big trees. I totally agree, they're so important in a garden that size.
Laura, how does your hair look so good while you’re working in the wind!?! You go girl.
The cottage garden around the chicken coop is my absolute favourite area in your garden!
Me, too! It’s such a charming area! I love all of their little pockets throughout their property!
Oh same. I love when it is in it's full glory. Can't wait to see it combined with the Hartley. Magical. 😊
Me too, absolutely my fav!
I'm with Aaron on this one, tear down that brick patio as soon as those bulbs are done blooming. 👷♀️⚒️👷♂️
I have been wanting them to excavate 🔨 that area from day one! It’s extremely mish-mash which isn’t “Laura”. I agree 👍🏻 . Tear that sucker 🧱 up and let’s see what’s underneath. I think they’ve been dangling the carrot 🥕 in front of our noses👃 long enough. 😉
@@rewbew9345 yup! Ditto on everything! Let's get that puppy going!! ;)
Does anyone actually like that brick circle patio?
@@Bamboo4U2 😂
@@Bamboo4U2 me. I think it's charming.
I was thinking about it and I can see why filming alone can be an extreme job. You really do have to keep moving the camera and get it set up just right, not an easy job especially when Laura keeps moving around doing things. Kudos to your patience.. I’m not ready to start my day yet so I think I’m going to watch the video again.💚🙃 Thank you Laura and it is always great to see Aaron make an entrance. He still may not be comfortable doing so, but I think I can speak for a lot of people, we love seeing him too.💚🙃
I agree about Aaron. He's really come into his own in the last year. This is so refreshing compared to other garden vloggers where husbands lurk unhappily in the background, don't speak AT ALL, and often scowl when they see that they are in the shot. Aaron, keep it up! You are Garden Answer too!
Black window box 👍🏻 Getting rid of the brick patio 👍🏻 Beverly confirming her love 👍🏻👍🏻😍😆
I love that you pooped a picture of what the chicken run looks like in its full Splendor.... spectacular!!!! Can’t wait 🌺
Would that make the picture chicken poop? LOL (That auto-correct will get you every time.)
Love how you speak up Laura and voice how you feel about things.I also love how your husband speaks up about what he likes and feels.None of the my way or the highway.Great communication for a great team.
I’m happy to hear that Aaron talking about removing the brick patio. It’s my least fav area of your garden
So much yes. If the bricks weren't such a mess it would be nice though, maybe a nice place for the kids to ride bikes, that's what I would do anyways, redo the bricks, remove the middle raised bed and that would be a nice little spot for bike riding.
I especially love going shopping with your family trees, plants, flowers. All of it.
those flashback photos from last season make me so excited for spring and summer - I love seasons!
Yesterday I was just taking a look at the new butterfly 🦋 bush we bought last fall, and I wasn’t sure when to prune it. Now I have a better idea! Great timing like always. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
lol That was me with the hydrangea pruning video.
Yesterday I took a massive dump
Birch. Plant birch to shade the greenhouse. The look will be spectacular!
Yes. Birch trees are my favorite- especially planted en masse.
Probably too dry in their climate. Yes, I know they have birch trees planted in other areas. I like birch trees, too.
That would be so pretty!
I love maintenance videos! So satisfying. it's crazy that all those bare spots will flush with new growth from perennials below soon! I do agree with you guys, that brick area by the gazebo is quite the sight now that so much has been removed. I can't wait to see what y'all decide to do with that area when the time comes!
I just love you all so much. You’re so genuine, sweet and a great teacher & motivator. You’re family is such a good role model. I’m so glad you have a lot going on because I look forward all day to the moment I get to relax and watch my favorite show. Bless you all.
Thank you for the maintenance videos. I always like see pruning done to make sure I'm doing it right.
One of the things that I so enjoy about the maintenance videos is the way Laura has to speculate about why things happened. Wind? Missed getting water? Not sure. This makes me feel like my garden oopsies are all normal and all part of being a gardener. ❤️
I’m so happy I have found you! You’ve helped me already grow as a beginning gardener with some of your videos I have watched recently. Thank you for your time to post for us 😄🌺
Am I the only one who loves the sound of Laura speed walking across the gravel!?!?
Hahaha
Pitty pat, pitty pat!
@@BarbsintheGarden Exactly! It's like listening to little feet, but it's just that the video is sped up.. Haha
Absolutely, just wish I could walk and work that fast in real time too😂
Good morning Garden Answer people☕️
☕🌹
Every morning while I’m having my coffee before I step out to water my garden before I leave for the day I get to see your wonderful videos! Thank you sharing & inspiring! YOU GO GIRL! ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽😉
I think the chicken coop window box looks good with the coco fibre. Just a nice little rustic touch to match the rest of that area. You’re such a joy to watch Laura!💚❤️🇨🇦
I was concerned that as your property expanded you might not have the time to share these maintenance videos, so I’m so happy to see them! They always spur me on to get out and tackle the similar plants I have in my garden. Thank you!!
All the new projects in the garden are so exciting! I love all the new ideas, plans and that lavender is certainly gorgeous!
Good morning y’all from London, Kentucky! Our redbuds will be flowering soon I believe and our little town will be hosting our huge cycling event call the redbud ride shortly. Can’t wait to see all the sights and sounds of spring. The birds are making such beautiful music. 😍
I am with you! Spring is so beautiful! Life is blooming yeiii!!! Happy Spring!
Looks like the old Laura is back, look at her go, so nice to see you doing what you love and we get to go for the ride with you. Thank you for your videos. 😁
You inspired me. I went out this morning and trimmed out all the dead and weak branches in my butterfly bush. Looks sooooo much better! I think I can hear the plant say, "aaaaaawe". It will bloom out beautifully, I'm sure. Thank you for all your great tips and for taking the uncertainty out of all the garden tasks.
Hi Laura and Aaron! I need to prune my lavender, so this really helped. It was nice that Aaron showed up and you kept filming the ideas/discussion. Thank you for sharing!
I can't believe this was less than a year ago, and how much you all have accomplished in this amount of time JUST with the Hartley area!?! Let alone everything else!
Thanks, Laura for reminding me to prune my lavender! I couldn’t find Sweet Romance lavender last year, but instead found Wee Ones Lavender which fits my space even better! And in true Laura manner, I bought enough to completely fill the length of the walkway! I’m learning from the best...you!!
Love it when Aaron comes along and says ‘let’s plant a tree’ 😂 Great vid as always guys.
Perfect timing!! I’ve been stressing about pruning my butterfly bush but now I think I can do it. Thank you so much 🙏!
Cute that Beverly eats out of your hand! Thanks for all the information on pruning!
Binge watching all the old videos today! Loving it! Love you Laura and your family! You bring joy to a lot of people!
I agree. Brick patio has to go : ) Thank you for all the fun adventures at your place.
Every time I see that big boxwood in the large white container I am reminded of the time you moved it...and the many comments "it won't live", but here it is, years later looking amazing and healthy! Laura, you just can not get rid of that one... :)
My sunflower i planted two days ago is already sprouting and im so happy cant wait to see some flowers
Lots of helpful pruning tips today. Thank you, Laura. Gets me excited to begin in my flowerbeds soon. (Zone 4b) You and Aaron are just too cute together! I love that Aaron also has gardening ideas and joins in the videos. Hugs to you both.
Laura I so enjoy these spring clean up videos,we still have a lot of snow but I’ll be ready when my turn comes. Love the detail info on cut back.😊👍
Hi Laura....love you and your family! Definitely a black window box....the contrast on the white would look great!!
Tell him i caught the Truman Show reference!👍 good afternoon good evening and goodnight
Wow Laura, you have so much on your to-do list and you get it all done. Amazing! I think it's great Aaron is appearing on screen more as he shares his ideas with you (and us). It'll be great if you tear up the brick pad and put your own unique spin on it :)
It’s cool to hear Aaron pop in with some of his ideas!
Thank you! You’re a great lady. Thanks for sharing your wonderful knowledge and energy.
Hi Laura!! I always learn something from every video!! My garden has done so much better ever since I've subscribed to your channel. Thank You!!
Finally saw Russell/Cheddar at 16:48... phew 😅 was getting worried
I’m so grateful. I planted my first butterfly bush last spring (Zone 9). This is very very timely. Thank you.
The plants have So much growing to do, and so little time!
Girl you are amazing! Love seeing what you do next.. I find myself going back to old videos and it’s awesome to see how your gardens change! So amazing! ❤️🙏
I can't wait until the next garden tour when everything is in bloom.
Good morning Laura, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b.
I woke up this morning and thought -1st full week of Spring - time to get all the clean-up done ✔ I just saw your video and you are jumping on your list, too. Of course, your list never ends and it doesn't seem to get any shorter 🤗 I hope you enjoy a long gently Spring 🌿💚🌿
Just adore the chickens and their coop
LAURA : " Black ones won't quite eat out of my hand yet. Beverly will though. Huh, Bev ? " ... (Buck)
. . . . . Now, How Sweet Was That ? . . . . . PRECIOUS !
Certainly Precious!
Thank you for this, Laura! I needed to see how far back you cut your butterfly bushes and lavender! Now I know what to do with mine.
Never end the video.
Thank you for the great information! I love Zephirine Drouhin roses! I had one at our home in another state and to my everlasting dismay I forgot to bring some cuttings. People take care of your knees. I know you do not understand now but the years will fly by and before you know it your knees will be in trouble. Keep yourself safe for as long as you can so you can teach us about gardening as long as you can! Thank you.
I just love the “happy” chickens 🙂
i love how raw this channel is !!! its not too commercialized its NATURAL 🤝😎
Yes! Yet so professional with the multi camera views, audio mics and shade consideration when doing over sunny videos. It's great.
@@BarbsintheGarden seriously amazing production 😌😌😌
@@BarbsintheGarden the only youtube channel i keep coming back to
Laura you and Aaron are so darn cute together what a treat to watch. You guys remind me of my parents and their gardens, now that they are gone their property looks horrible! Keep up the great work on your property and your relationship.💞
Started watch your video and you were cutting back your butterfly bushes and it dawned on me that I hadn't done mine yet. I stopped the video so I could run outside and do it before dark. Thank you so much for the reminder.
Leave the basket on the chicken coop. It looks quaint! Excited that in two weeks your gazebo will be gone! Are you filming the placement in the town park?
Gosh you two are so cute together!! Love the chickens!
I love how Laura starts and ends each video. If you scroll through Facebook and only watch the first 5 seconds of each video post, you get an endless stream of “Hey guys, how’s it going?” She’s the best!
The view at 1:06 is my inspiration! That is just perfection!
Laura’s happy when she buttons something up! 👍🏻 Love hearing Aaron’s asides.
Laura, I started following you about 6 years ago and have never missed a single video. I tell everyone about you when they ask about my gardens. Mentioned you at our local nursery last weekend and the buyer said he has heard about you from several customers. I told him he had better get Land and Sea compost in because he was going to be inundated with requests, he said he already had. You go girl and keep doing what you do. You are a treasure. I have learned SO MUCH!
Good morning all coffee and Laura yes please😊
Omy gosh, are you getting your dream greenhouse- I'm soo excited! Ever since you made that video about that greenhouse I've been waiting for the day that you'd finally get it! Aw, it makes me so happy!
So happy you gave us some more teaching on lavender. It's my favorite. Thank you.
Oh I love your chicken statue. Don’t know how I missed it before. You are my favorite channel to follow and it’s the perfect way to start my day. Jumps starts my enthusiasm to get things done 😉
your videos are the best with my breakfast, thank you! can't wait to see how everything turns up
Hurrah, can't wait to see that gazebo go.
Perfect timing! My mom added a few of these to her garden last winter, so I will call her to remind her to prune them :)
Thank you for teaching on how to prune butterfly bush didn't know but now I will prune them.
Great full GA video, love Aaron’s news announcer in put made me laugh. My husband is always distracting my train of thought so I sympathize🤔
I want to start digging so bad but our ground if still frozen. All week the highs here will be in the 50's. Yeah. Thanks for a monday morning video. Have a great day. Love those black hens.
I can’t believe in just 4 hrs of this video went up there are already so many views & comments. Perhaps I’ll be the 1st viewer & commenter next time or in the top 5? We all love everything she does. ♥️
My two butterfly bushes are MONSTERS! They got a hard prune this year. We'll see.
I’m in the deep South, Portland Texas. I had already watched your previous video and pruned my butterfly bush. Still watched this video and see I pruned properly, 😊, thank you!
If I lived near nearby, I’d take those red bricks off your hands when you’re done with them. Love the old world look to that brick pad!
Thank you for the butterfly bush trimming tips.
Garden looks exciting for spring
I just pruned my butterfly bushes yesterday! Was happy to see that I did it right! Thanks!
Such pretty healthy chickens 🐓
Thanks for your transplanting and roses pruning. Love your gardens. This gives me energy to get out early here in Mass.and clean up etc.
I really enjoy the developments on the new land. I could watch those projects everyday.
A Corkscrew Willow would be beautiful in that spot where the brick is now, and provide dappled sunlight on the greenhouse.
Tortilla soup is excellent, even my picky daughter liked it, thanks for the recipe. I love your videos.
Chicken coop area= my favorite part of your garden. Especially along the fence
Always enjoy having my morning ☕ with you and so happy to see the arrival of the warmer weather. Would you please share how to install the pallet walkway around the chicken coop?
She has a great video for when they installed it! At least two years ago.
Look it up on their playlist.
I'm so glad there isn't a lot of music in your videos. The sound of Laura planting and moving about the garden at triple speed is my ASMR!
Love these kind of videos it really encourages me to go and give everything in my garden a good hair trim 🪴🌺🪴
Thank you for talking about the butterfly bushes. I just had 4 dwarf ones planted last year and was wondering how I go about getting them ready for this year. Thank you now I can do it!
I love to watch you working in your old garden, this one I learned a lot and that's why I subscribe to your channel.
