Return to Newcastle with Sam Solomi

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the King of the Table 11 event live and had the opportunity to reconnect with some friends before departing on my next flight. My last visit to Newcastle, England to see Sam Solomi was on January 15, 2023. Although we met again two weeks later in Dubai (both meetings are documented on my channel), this video captures our reunion in Newcastle upon Tyne on June 2, 2024. My visit coincided with my studies at Durham University.
As many of you know, Sam is not only a dear friend but also one of the strongest men in the UK, weighing in at 175 kg. He is an exceptional coach with a kind demeanor.
I’ve made significant health progress since January of this year, losing over 30 kg (I used to be 132 KG and today 101KG). My regimen involved alternating between days of unrestricted eating and days where I only had breakfast, along with gym sessions once or if I was lucky, twice a week. It just happens that my schedule is just tight! On the day I arrived, I went straight to Sam's gym with no rest after my flight. We focused on thick bar and pinch exercises, where I lifted a 172-pound Inch dumbbell, pinched two 20 kg plates, and managed Sam's challenging 25 kg blob. Despite my weight loss, I was pleased with my performance. Sam did everything I did but way easier. While we didn't use grippers that day, I did test them two weeks later in London at the Commando Temple. Video will follow.
A remarkable highlight is Julia’s incredible strength. Without specific grip training, she successfully lifted a 54 kg Inch dumbbell thumbless. This feat, especially impressive for a woman with hand size below 7 inches, showcases her powerlifting training with Sam.
Oliver Hayes, at just 16 years old, shows great potential in strength training and is on track to break records. Reece, at 19, also demonstrated impressive strength.
It was an amazing day, and I extend my gratitude to Sam for his hospitality once again.
