    These are lovely! I’ve been thinking about making my own soaps and I’m a vegan so I would love to try this. Is there anything you would change to use this soap as a Yoni soap? Is it safe AND “gentle” enough for that area? Thanks in advance. This video is from a couple years back, so I hope your still responding to questions. Thanks again!

    I am a new soap maker and don't have an essential oils yet. Just fragrance oils. Would it be okay to substitute fragrance oil for essential oil? If so, how much should I use for this amount and will the scent stay around over time? I'm sorry for my new questions. I've been experimenting with soap for a few weeks but still haven't come up with a really great go to recipe. The bubbly and cleansing properties of coconut oil (with the 20% superfat that I'm still not totally sure how works), really appeals to me.
    Edit: Sorry, I had two more questions. Did you freeze your aloe water first or use it room temp? Wondering if working at room temp with 100% coconut oil soap would help it slow tracing?

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  3 роки тому

      Welcome to soap making! Each fragrance and essential oil has a different usage rate, so it's always good to look it up and figure out the %. I keep my aloe in the fridge, so it's cold not frozen, and I do soap at room temp or close usually between 70-90 degrees
