Guys, don't lose hope. As someone who has the most aggressive hair loss (my two brothers were Norwood 7 by 28-30), not to mention aggressive retrograde alopecia as well, all my cousins in both families are Norwood 6-7 by 30. I have followed this protocol for 5 years and haven't lost ground. It's possible-just be consistent. use a good Pen and do NOT skip sessions. If it worked for me, it should work for EVERYONE.

I press 3 fingers from each hand downward (not rubbing) and press firmly, to force blood out of the my scalp. Blood then flows back into the tissue. No rubbing. Just pressure.
Hi, are you experiencing regrowth as a result of this technique? How long do you carry it out for? I've heard of this technique. I believe it is known as "pressing."
nice. I actually stretch my scalp skin when i take showers. i'll do 1 go of pushing the skin together in little sections from left to right from front to back. then i'll push down lightly and pull same as the pushing "squeezing". seems to be helping or at least not making things worse.

Pattern hair loss is caused by a predisposed genetic sensitivity to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), not poor blood circulation. For men, finasteride and minoxidil are perfectly safe and clinically proven treatments. For women, topical minoxidil is available in a lower dose, but it’s best to talk with your dermatologist about proper treatment; not with this fool trying to make money from people!
The word Journey is not a euphemism. The meaning of word euphemism is the substitution of a mild or pleasant expression for one that is too strong or unpleasant. For example, " pass away" is a widely used euphemism for someone who has died. I used the word journey to describe my hair growth progress. Make sure you know the meaning of a word before you use it and further more my comment was addressed to the channel creator and not yourself. There's no need to be rude, thank you.
I'm using a silicone spikes massager and it does move the scalp over the skull. I think they were designed for the same. It doesn't feel much on the back and sides but on the top it hurts a lot. Makes me realise how thin and tight the top scalp is.
Great observation! Using a silicone spike massager is a fantastic tool to help loosen and stimulate the scalp! 😊 That tight feeling on the top of your head is actually quite common, especially if there’s any tension in your scalp, which can restrict blood flow to hair follicles. Here are a few tips to make the most of your scalp massages: 1. **Start Gentle** 🌱: If the top feels tender, try applying less pressure and gradually increase as your scalp loosens up over time. You can also start with your fingertips to gently warm up the area before using the massager. 2. **Consistency is Key** ⏳: Regular use (a few minutes daily) will help the scalp tissue relax and improve circulation. Over time, you might notice the top of your scalp feels more relaxed and less tender. 3. **Focus on the Edges First** 🌀: Begin massaging the back and sides where it’s more comfortable, then slowly work your way to the top. This can help “wake up” the scalp tissue without too much direct pressure. Keep it up! Scalp massages can really make a difference in scalp health and hair growth over time. 🌟 ➡️ For more tips on scalp health, feel free to reach out to us at [www.advancedtrichology.com/](www.advancedtrichology.com/)!

All others only address the superficial issues whereas you nailed the exact one
Oh gosh, you have beautiful hair! I’m going to have a go at this because am so depressed with my thin hair, have even had a biopsy to find out what is happening. Hospital was useless, offering me a wig! Thank you 🥰
I'd love to massage my scalp and it's great to finally hear the proper technique from a professional.. But my scalp is so sensitive, dandruff prone (not sure if it's sd or psoriasis) and dehydrated, that no matter how delicate I am with it... It gets really irritated and the roots hurt a lot. I don't know how to massage my scalp anymore or do anything with it! I can't even brush my hair properly.. It has to be utterly delicate
Damn, I'm jealous of this Doc's hair. I'm just now seeing some slight hair loss, but I've also seen a lot of botched hair transplants that fail way too quickly. Financially speaking, life has treated me really well. I would GLADLY give 100K to have a hair transplant that would look that good and last!!

@@haydendupire7432Obviously if you are losing hair the sooner you go to a dermatologist the better because it could be due to dht, but blood circulation is also key, that is why there is minoxidil for greater blood circulation and finasteride for dht.

Could doing scalp over skull method for 20 to 30 minutes a day be detrimental? Or several minutes, many times throughout the day harmful? i.e. is there such thing as too much
Headstand exercises are also very helpful combined with the above mentioned massage. Just don't overdo the headstand. Recommended time is 1 minute, 5 minutes is deadly as too much blood will flow to the brain.
Great video! One question though; is it harmful to do a massage for a longer period of time? Every study that I read about scalp massages mentions more than 1 minute of massaging.

You don’t see anything on my scalp. I’ve tried every supplement, on the market, including shampoos Nothing seems to help. I'm very health-conscious! I ordered a few of your Supplements, Foligrowth, DHT Blocker, and Foligrowth serum. Hopefully, that's going to help my scalp and hair growth. Now I'm in my late 50s and still dealing with it! HELP! I've always said they can send a man to the moon but they couldn't find a cure for Seborrheic Dermatitis! Would love to visit your office and see you! Thank you

I'm 64 and have fine curly hair , it has taken me 4 years to get 8" of growth from my hair , I lose a lot of hair after every wash and daily when I brush my hair , I do have hard water and I use a lot of hair conditioner and leave in conditioner. Any suggestions how to get my hair long ,
Sir, could you please make a video about how to regrow hair using oils, and which can't be used daily? It will be very helpful.. Because i was used Minoxidil for last 2 years, but i have seen results. But after 6 months started to lose hair and huge dandruff . Now my hairfall started and can see losing of hair from back side of head also
Minoxidil sometimes causes a hair fall. Some claim it's the usual progression of using it. The main thing is NOT to stop using it. Get on Finastride and try a salt scrub shampoo once a week. Don't waste your time with oils. They clog one's pores. Losing hair on sides and back usually indicate nutritional and inflammatory hair loss. Watch his videos on this to learn more.

You can do **scalp massages** with either wet or dry hair-it really depends on your preference! 😊 💧 **Wet hair (with oil or during shampooing)**: If you're using oils like rosemary or castor oil, massaging on wet hair helps distribute the oil more evenly and allows it to penetrate the scalp. It also feels great during a shower with shampoo or conditioner! 🌿 **Dry hair**: Scalp massages on dry hair are convenient and can stimulate blood flow without needing any products. Just make sure to be gentle to avoid pulling or breaking the hair. Both methods are great as long as you're being gentle and consistent! 💆♀️💆♂️ ➡️Reach out to us at www.advancedtrichology.com/
Yes! Hair trimming is a very important thing in maintaining healthy hair. You should trim your hair every 3-6 months and should cut about 1-3 inches depending upon your hair condition. You can search that on Google as well. Hope this helps
The centre of my scalp pains when i do this type of massage. What does this means? Otherwise i feel relaxed and also sleepy . I m 44 yrs old female . Lots of love from India ❤
So I bought some off-brand Rosemary drops I use a rice water bar of shampoo soap once a week and I use one of those scalp massage tools that rubs the scalp and combs through the hair and my hair has grown half an inch and less than a month and I just in a growing phase because I feel like I'm shutting a lot of hair when I'm brushing but it's growing fast
I usually get terrible scalp pain from day 2 of my hair wash. The doctors I’ve visited usually tell me it’s stress. But if it is stress how does the pain go away after a shower? Ps. I have an oily scalp and hair thinning at this point as well.
It sounds like your symptoms could be related to several factors, including scalp health and stress. Scalp massages, as discussed by William Gaunitz, can be very effective in promoting hair growth and improving scalp health. Specifically, the scalp-over-skull massage technique mentioned is designed to move the scalp over the skull, enhancing circulation to the dermal layer where hair growth occurs. This method, especially when performed for 60 to 90 seconds daily before applying topical treatments or before showering, can help clean the scalp more effectively and potentially alleviate issues like the pain you're experiencing. Given your situation with an oily scalp and hair thinning, incorporating scalp massages as described could help improve scalp health and hair thickness by enhancing blood circulation and possibly relieving stress-related symptoms. It's also crucial to consider the role of stress in scalp pain and explore stress management techniques alongside scalp care routines. For personalized advice, consider reaching out to a trichologist like William Gaunitz, who can provide tailored recommendations based on your specific condition. Thanks for sharing the advices. I have a question tho.. if we apply oil, for example argan oil, do we wash the hair next day, do we keep the oil for 3 hours or do we just leave it until the next time we use shampoo?
Try to apply overnight and wash it the other day. If you apply in the day and go out, it may attract lot of dust (invisible) as oil is sticky. If you let oil stay for more than a day, it may lead to flaky scalp or other issues. If you see flaky scalp, you can use ketoconazole shampoo (once in 2 days) for few weeks, to clean the flaky scalp. I apply generous amount of oil before bedtime and massage for 15-20 mins very gently. This was the advice from my dermatologist.

I love watching your videos sir, god bless you. Sir I have been suffering from dandruff and hair loss/ hair thinning, will these massages also work for oily scalp type? Could you please solve my doubt?
Thanks for this video❤ I been massaging my scalp but didn’t realize you should move the scalp 👍🏻 I did read that hair loss is due to poor circulation🤔 my problem is my hair has grown back but it seems to fall out again and doesn’t grow more than a couple of inches…is this a certain condition I’m missing?
Pattern hair loss is caused by a predisposed genetic sensitivity to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), not poor blood circulation. @@haydendupire7432 I think the video does say the massage is in addition to treatment, as in it enhances it and not replaces it. I have watched quite a few videos of people who themselves had hair loss and they say massage was surprisingly helpful. Likely more a factor in stress loss of hair, but I can't imagine increasing circulation with massage would not be useful at all no matter what the reason for the loss.
Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in our video on scalp massages for hair growth. Stress can indeed affect hair health, leading to issues such as telogen effluvium, where stress causes hair to enter the shedding phase more quickly than normal. Scalp massages may offer benefits in the context of stress-related hair loss by promoting relaxation and reducing stress levels, which, in turn, could have a positive impact on hair growth. As explained in our video "SCALP MASSAGES THAT ACTUALLY WORK IN 2024! GET LONGER, THICKER HAIR," the effectiveness of scalp massages in stimulating hair growth lies in their ability to improve circulation and, potentially, to encourage more nutrients to reach the hair follicles. The key to a beneficial scalp massage is to move the scalp over the skull, which helps in improving circulation to the area. Performing this type of massage for 60 to 90 seconds daily, especially before applying a topical treatment or before showering, can optimize the health of your scalp and may enhance the effectiveness of other hair growth treatments. In the context of stress, incorporating scalp massages into your routine can serve as a double-edged sword; not only does it potentially aid in hair regrowth by improving scalp health and circulation, but it also offers a moment of relaxation and stress relief, which is critical for overall health and can indirectly benefit hair growth. Remember, while scalp massages are a promising and non-invasive tool for improving hair health, they're most effective when used as part of a comprehensive approach to hair care and stress management. This approach includes maintaining a healthy lifestyle, using appropriate hair care products, and addressing any underlying health issues or nutritional deficiencies. We're here to support you in your journey to healthier hair. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. I put the serum especially to my front hairline & top. Became habitual giving my whole head a massage after shower and / or watching tv. Cheers 🙏👍😜❤️🇨🇦
What serum ?
Yeah let me know too. Is it minoxidil that you’re talking about?

Hi, are you experiencing regrowth as a result of this technique? How long do you carry it out for? I've heard of this technique. I believe it is known as "pressing."
Yes. Finally someone saying “rubbers don’t do anything”! It just caused my hair to tangle and hard to brush out. Also ”inversion method” is BS.
My hair grew so a lot more sticking straight up all over the top crown. From massaging.

nice. I actually stretch my scalp skin when i take showers. i'll do 1 go of pushing the skin together in little sections from left to right from front to back. then i'll push down lightly and pull same as the pushing "squeezing". seems to be helping or at least not making things worse.
Had crazy inflammation on my scalp. Shaved all hair off, started using rosemary oil made from fresh rosemary, and scalp massages and i already see results after 4 weeks.

Here are a few tips to make the most of your scalp massages:

What is the ratio of rosemary oil and castor oil?
Great video! One question though; is it harmful to do a massage for a longer period of time? Every study that I read about scalp massages mentions more than 1 minute of massaging.

Hello and thank you for the informative video. I massage my hair every evening for about 10 minutes. Is that rather counterproductive or pointless? Stupid question, but your time specification is 90 seconds. Greetz from Germany.

💧 **Wet hair (with oil or during shampooing)**: If you're using oils like rosemary or castor oil, massaging on wet hair helps distribute the oil more evenly and allows it to penetrate the scalp.

Hello, thank you for sharing this video. I have a question. Does this work when you have stress?
