I used to make paper jewelry in the 80’s. Try heavy watercolor paper. You only need 2 sheets to sandwich your findings and it is incredibly stiff and durable. Add color, images, flat back stones, etc. then seal it, add your other earring findings, pin packs, etc. and you have incredibly lightweight durable jewelry. I still have some of my pieces I still wear from the 80’s!
@@MYSTICMANDY22UV resin works fantastic. But if you don't want to use a UV light, there are simple acrylic spray sealants, as well as several typesvof sealing products made just for this purpose. Just make sure you get one that can be used on a porous surface - paper, especially watercolor paper, is very porous & absorbent.
Oh my goodness, I could listen to you all day...I have made several metal pieces, but I just adore paper jewelry...the feel of it, the organic, lightweight, easy to wear... so sweet..and endless possibilities... And you are a wonderful teacher. Thank you!
I LOVE this paper jewelry idea! While watching your video, my mind was spinning with the possibilities! And you do an amazing job explaining the steps. Thank you🙏🏻♥️
Ms. Emma I so love these ideas. I dabble in all kinds of jewelry making and this is on of the best tutorials I have ran across. You fully explain all of the different ways to make them. I will be making some of these. I already have some ideas, especially for the butterflies!! Thank you so very much...
I love these. I do arts and crafts with seniors and have ordered everything to make these! I think they will really enjoy making and wearing them👍❤️. Thank you for the inspiration and great tutorial.
I love what can be made from just good old paper and card and a few other bits and pieces! So many possibilities! Beautiful jewellery and an inspiring tutorial. Thank you!
I love these! They would also make great junk journal embellishments. I love that little jump ring tool. I wear it on my finger and it makes it very convenient.
❤ Very Beautiful! Tyfs and showing how to display you're the Best Instructor! I've learned alot. Amazing! I received more than was expected ❤😊😁👏🏾👏🏾💯 Thank you so much! Be Blessed Always!😁❤
Love the idea of using the paperclips. I punch out about 4 shapes of the same image from cardstock scraps, then my main decorative images on top and bottom. About 5 - 6 layers, depending on the thickness you want. Glue them together with Art Glitter Glue, and they will become hard as a rock! Almost like the Shrinky Dinks. Maybe on 2 of the inside layers you can cut out the shape of the paperclip so there's no warping. Thanks for giving me some new ideas!!!
I’m obsessed with paper jewellery as well. I found a good tip if you have dripping Glossy Accents over the edge. Put the pieces on a silicone trivet or doming mat, and that will take care of any dripping dimensional glue, particularly Mod Podge Dimensional Magic, which is so runny. Your pieces are gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing this. 😊 You can get a cutting pen, it is the size of a pen and the cutting blade is the size of a ball point pen, no more fussy cutting. 😊
I got interested into jewelry making recently and got the chance to enjoy your video today and love it. Your jewelry are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this great ideas that allow to inspire us more!
God is so good! Answered prayer.. Not kidding.. Been wanting several of these techniques, first time making jewelry!! So excited!! God bless & continue to keep you in His care.. Happy crafting❤
Wow! Love these so much. Can't wait to make embellishments for junk journaling. I feel like I just received a Christmas present. Thank you for the ideas. New subscriber!

I have been watching paper jewelry videos for a bit now, I just happened to stumble onto yours!! I truly wish I had found this first as it would have given me the confidence that this truly can be as beautiful and unique as I was imagining…. Without the frustration and disappointments … but, I also BELIEVE, that perhaps I didn’t just stumble upon you, but was led by my faith and determination.. Thank you for sharing all of your techniques and tips in Stan easy manner.. New subscriber ❤😊
I love your jewelry made of paper.. I’m going to try it tomorrow. Thank you so much for the tutorial. Where do you buy your paper with prints on it. Beautiful
I make paper earrings as well. I use 5 thicknesses of water color to make my paper earrings. I handpaint them. I also add dangles on many of the earrings. ❤ Very nice tutorial. Thank you! Fo you sell your paper earrings and necklaces?
Hi. I am allergic to resin. I need a product that is non toxic and self levelling and this looks perfect. Does this medium self level or do we need to take care when applying it to the surface to avoid uneven layers?
You can also use resin on them after glueing. Just remember to use ppe. Safety glasses, gloves, and a mask. Also use the mask when using certain types of glue. They can have negative effects on your lungs. Safety first!
They look lovely. Was wondering what product you were using to seal the pieces off, as I don't favour Mod Podge. Ahh..."Glossy Accents". Picked up the name further into the video, very clear instructions, many thanks 🙂. P.S. what brand of Glossy Accents is that please?

Did you use 150lb watercolor paper or the 300 lb paper?
@@serenityjewel I used 300 pound paper when I was making paper jewelry pieces.
Thanks for the tip. 😊
How do you recommend sealing

Absolutely wonderful
I love this tutorial! One question- do you seal the back of the pendant with anything? Perhaps I missed it... thank you!
Yes I do! You could use mod Podge or a thin layer of the glosssy accents, or even paint with a layer of acrylic
Please tell me how to find these awesome papers!?!? I could not find them on your website. Thanks so much! zLOVE THIS VIDEO!
There aren’t papers for this tutorials…it does say so in the video…use your gorgeous scraps 😀
Fantastic! New Subbie. TFS.

great video! what is the final material you used to coat the top side of the paper? do you know what it would be similar to in the US?
Glossy accents is available in the US.
May I please ask what do you print your patterns on. What type of paper and weight do you use? You are a true talent.
Thank you. I tend to use 250gsm cad and 120gsm paper. I love Color sure and HPs Color choice as I love the Color reproduction
they are beautiful. Do you seal the backs of them too as what if the back got wet
As they’re essentially paper, keep them dry…but yes, by all means, seal the backs

You’re such a sweet lady!💕
Oh thank you!
que usa resina epoxi o q material es ese liquido
Very pretty.
WELCOME NEW CREATURE SO Use the edit icon to pin, add or delete clips.
Are these waterproof?
i'm wondering what paper you used for the tall ones?
I used the thickest I can get through my printer for the main Folio…300gsm
What stock is that black paper?
its either 250gsm or 300gsm - hard to be sure - its just a generic black card I picked up from a craft store
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
Hello beautiful
Hello 😊
I dont like the paper clips. It makes the earrings look cheap made.
You can always use the little screw eyelets for jewelry
