NieR: Automata | 2B’s Bunker Room

After the prologue, players will awaken in 2B’s Bunker room at YoRHa Headquarters. 2B and 9S have been completely repaired with new android bodies and her old memories intact. Unfortunately, 9S only had time to upload 2B’s memory data bank to the Bunker before the black box explosion losing his memory data chip entirely in the process.

I just started playing this game yesterday.
I wasn't terribly impressed when they blew up 2B and 9S at the end of the intro level - I mean, c'mon, these are obviously the main characters, they aren't going to kill them off right away - but at the part where you find out 9S lost his memories? Not to mention that fist clench...
Something tells me I'm in for a treat. A wonderful, tear-jerking, heart-wrenching, soul-shattering treat.
It's probably because I've read some UA-cam comments and have some idea of what to expect, but I can't wait to see how this game breaks my heart!
