  • It is finally time to tackle the behemoth that is the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, written & illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. I have watched through parts 1-5 in the anime a few years ago and have even read a few volumes of Part 6. But despite thoroughly enjoying the 40 or so chapters of Stone Ocean I read, I felt like I had to stop. The difference in my level of enjoyment between watching & reading JoJo was night & day, and at that stage I wasn’t the biggest fan of JoJo in general. Let's find out if reading the manga from the very beginning will change that!

Fantastic video. Part 1 is criminally underrated so its great to see someone analyze the base for the colossal structure that is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

I remember and advocate for part 1 being abysmal but the way you talk about it is really changing. You make some high class videos and i just know one day youre gonna be one of the great anime youtubers

hell yes, seeing someone review Phantom Blood, especially a fellow british person?? fuck yeah. watching JoJo for the first time all those years ago was such a great experience to see familiar locations and imagery that i've known all my life is a magical experience, and i'm happy to see someone elses thoughts on this amazing series.

It's gonna be so awesome to see you go through JoJo through the lenses of the manga which is my 2nd favourite manga series ever even though most like the anime more. Something about reading part 1 felt better to me and so much to look forward to later on in all the bizarre wacky meme filled adventures.

great vid. Artwork only gets better, witnessing the journey of his growth out of FOTNS influenced style will be amazing for you.
Also, JoJo's been running for 36 years now lol

I watch anime from one perspective but when Creators like Radmon bring these type of videos
It gives me an whole spectrum into perspective
And I'm really looking forward for other JJBA parts, death note and other anime or manga to be dissected

Saw you were reading Jojo on twitter and have been looking forward to you dropping this vid to hear your thoughts. I'm glad you're enjoying your time with the manga, Arakis art has a certain pull that I can't quite explain but I find myself revisiting the volumes a lot, even just to check out specific panels that stick with me. Hope you enjoy your time revisiting the rest of what you've already sort of seen, I definitely agree with the black and white manga being the way to go. Depending on how long you take the official scans of part 5 might have finished by the time you get there too. Once you hop onto part 6 are you going straight into colour or do you think you'll read the Black and white officials up to where they'll be at the time before jumping over? (I think it's currently at chapter 75). I'm looking forward to your streams for those last three parts as well as the upcoming videos (Really nice editing btw).
