@JSU Tigers you're right....it was obvious based on this subpar performance and the fact that y'all stole out of a hotel and had ineligible students performing and got the band director fired that you don't worry. Keep up the good work.

Linda Hill Brown always happens with bands, usually some don’t get to perform during the fieldshow so they stay on the side or in the stands, but since bands alternated spots, they just were stationary

sometimes it has to do with the drills, certain formations call for a certain number of people
I get 5 or 6, but they got a whole section over there on the sideline

For one I love the Boom just as much as I like the Human Jukebox, but this show wasn't as entertaining as I had hype for. Man I love it when the Boom plays well and when they have a really good show but this didn't have that drive and energy that the Boom usually has. Idk what happen but I guess it's to get the members in shape for the up coming season. But nice job on the audio and video Kev

I love JSU and the camera quality but I don’t know what else these ppl in the comments were listening to but they sounded a mess where very sloppy and everyone on the field is walking not marching. And my favorite jsettes that was the laziest and the most boring routine I have ever seen the jsettes perform I’m use to them giving me life what happened they must have been tired from the travel or something

Didn't JSU steal stuff out of the hotel that night, had students marching in this event that weren't even enrolled and the band director got fired? Norfolk State would never. I heard no cheers for this wack drill and this was supposed to the best. I heard trumpets ucking up.
@@liquidlightz general consensus from meac or Norfolk fans I’m sure. sounds like hearsay to me, I haven’t heard any of that. Every school trip, whether it’s band or otherwise has incidents of misbehaving. Let’s not act holier than thou. That has nothing to do with the sound of the band or its performance. I like Norfolk at certain times too, this just wasn’t one of those times. JSU is just more consistent when entertaining crowds🤷🏽♂️ it is what it is
@@b.e.tillman2251 Umm no. People who werent affiliated with NSU. Speaking of holier than thou, how does one drop a whole drum? Just as you say my statement is hearsay yours is as well. As a former band director I know many many people from all conferences and the general consensus was that NSU had the best show and sound overall and this includes SWAC devotees. You acting like the SWAC can't take an L and is the end all and be all is holier than thou. You overlook cracked notes, bad phrasing and intonation and consider blasting to be superior. Your ish stinks too. According the current poll on HBCU sports NSU won this BOTB. Deal with it. It's ok to lose sometimes even if your pride gets in the way.
