Yes they did. It was very clean.
I have been a fan on The Boom since the early 80's. But this years band continues to amaze me from week to week. They just keep getting better. From the immaculate field shows to that powerful yet clean sound. Every section of the band can be heard. You can even hear the piccolos. Let's go Boom!
Their piccolo section can really play and they sounded really nice, along with the rest of the band.
JSU is a well balance band

They drilled the field and played the heck out of “I want to be your man”. Looking forward to the SU game. JSU is keeping the HBCU band tradition alive in an error where arts and music programs are underfunded and undervalued.

Absolutely enjoyed the show, they have a special way of delivering each song with a clean and clear sound.
This is a FANtastic Band. The Sound they emote in this Stadium is something that will never be replicated. They Own the Swac this year #SonicBoom

The imagination in the marching formations and choreography sometimes just blows my mind. It's a marvel how they conceptualize it, design it, and then get the entire band to execute the manoeuvres almost flawlessly! With all the energy that goes into those performances, you'd think the musicians have to be in almost as good a shape as the football players themselves.

It was good but could be better it needs some cleaning.....They need to let Neci go ahead and put together a field piece cause EVERYYYY field routine she does on her IG is well put together and exciting to watch.....NECI for field choreography.....

I’m missing something
The band was great. The J-Settes were too sloppy, lacked proper technique in executing the stunts, and did not fully execute movements. Everything seemed rushed and disorganized.
Business Professional I am glad you are being honest. I am jsette fan and have been for years. Something is wrong! I am glad you noticed what I have been seeing for time. They are not consistent anymore.
I'm glad you were honest enough to notice it, it was really sloppy, I don't see where that performance snatched anything but hey those die hard fans will never be honest about their mistakes, seems like they're trying too hard to outdo other squads, just dance and have fun, sorry this was a fail for me.
@@DezWhite-up9tc Agree...when your are an elite squad the only competition you should have is yourself and should evolve accordingly. Too many teams want to dance for social media likes from many folks without any formal training in dance. The field shows really point out the "true" dancers from the "eight count stand" dancers performing for the media posters gathered in front of them.
