I miss Jimmy James. Growing up in Jackson and hearing him announce during the shows added to the prestige of the Boom. Wavey Dave (David Chambers) was the mascot for like 15 years...lol. I don't think people realize how epic Boom's halftime shows were in the 80s and 90s. Wavey Dave was the first mascot to jump into the goal post.
