  • So in 1985 I joined up as a fire cadet with the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service. Since then I have worked in a variety of roles and attended a wide range of incidents and experienced some of the best and worst sides to life. You never know how your day is going to work out in this job and you learn something new everyday

Great to see a great career I joined wmfs as a yfa at 12, then at 18 joined the training school at 19 I got my first Station. In my second week on the way to a 7am start I got knocked off my motorbike and broke my back in 3 places. I had 6 months off work but I got medically discharged never to be able to fulfill my childhood dream keep the dream going you don’t know how lucky you are 👍🏻

Chris Mould that must have been hard for you. I am sorry to hear that. I have been lucky and have had some great opportunities that have taken me all over the U.K. and even to the USA. Time has gone too quickly though
