That Commer fire engine AAH 292B is now sat in what remains of Medler’s Scrapyard at Hevingham near Norwich.
The exact one?
@@halleyshun Yes that is the exact one I have a picture of it and hopefully as part of the Norfolk Fire Museum we will save this and restore it

I was very little at the time and the fire engines use to frighten me and the siren that sounded across the town
That station is still here today
intresting fire service on the cheap 32 full time jobs lost
No need for helmets and breathing apparatus in the 1960s
