One of the best kdrama ever written frrr. I love that Hong sisters didn't write it based on any dynasty but they literally created Daeho so they can write whatever they want without being restricted with korean history.
They also mentioned that this story was there but not mentioned in any history soo they are showing this to us ........this is soo convincing alsooo❤️❤️
This was a very creative thinking outside the box that worked, which is not always the case.
This is not the first of it's kind, some stuff were taken front a show that has aired before. But they made it theirs which was beautiful
That's a brilliant idea because knowing kdrama fans, they would ridule the fact that "Oh this didn't happen in this era or you should have included this"

in s1 he was light and she was shadow, in s2 she lit up his darkened world. the ying/yang themes throughout both seasons were really good and the fact that they fell in love with each version of each other, accepting each others vulnerabilities and thorns, is peak romance. there's no moving on from them my ukyeong couple😭

This actress is phenomenal! I love how she could be naksu the killer in season 1 and by Yeon in season 2. That hardness and softness almost make her scenes unrecognizable! And I love it! I had to go back to rewatch them to be sure they were both her!

Their chemistry are really out of this world. Hoping that they will work again together or they will just date in real life. Can't deny that Alchemy of Souls was really worth to watch because of the chemistry of this two. I really really love them! Waiting for another LJW and GYJ drama together, there chemistry can't be waste.
We cant deny the fact that their chemistry is soooo good.. I love this season much better than Season 1. I mean, they also have a good chemistry but i dont know.. i just see them as a sibling, but these two makes me feel like im envading their privacy when they're together.

While I do love mudeok and her acting their love story was always strange to me lol no hate to the actors and actresses but it did feel like they banter like siblings and or someone older to someone younger while I understand they had to do that for the master student dynamic i never really saw them as a couple like every time something sweet happens it gives irk vibes then mudeok or jang uk makes a joke of sorts and ruins the moment so s2 romance for me ALWAYS s1 is great too but in terms of chemistry (in romantic sense deff s2)

Everything about this couple is epic. The cinematography, dialogue, action, story were executed wonderfully. For me they are not the type of couple that u see and go bam. Rather they seep into ur heart and before u realise your world is eclipsed by this beautiful couple. No matter the circumstances, fortune, misfortune, they were brave, courageous and resolute. Their love survived it all and their love is something I admire and will remember for a long long time.
A light that embraces a shadow will never be lost in the darkness, light and shadow, Jang Uk and Cho Yeong is the best couple I've ever seen on a show, their story is simply amazing

Jaewook and YounJung's chemistry really played a huge part why I love AOS2. It was unexpected at first but they totally captured me. Their chemistry is totally insane like it was sunshine, butterflies, flame and I cant get enough of them 🤧

Later when watching the BTS videos I saw that Lee Jae Wook was also during the shooting of this scene, and then Go Youn Jung started crying too. 🥹 No other couple has ever made me cry so much. I liked S2 better because of the way they wrote her character. In S1 she was cold, indifferent and not very kind. I couldn’t feel connected to her or why he would fall for her. In S2 she was brave, emotionally open and very caring despite his many rejections. I could buy into why he eventually came to love her as herself.

Their chemistry made Season 2 much more interesting than Season 1, as for me. I watched S1 only once and I've already watched S2 two times, and some episodes 3-4 times. It's really a masterpiece with great cast, interesting story, beautiful decorations, etc.

Season 2 hits the heart differently. I find myself rewatching it all over again coz i still cant move on from all their scenes together from beginning to the end. She's just so cute, innocent, funny and ethereal at the same time. Their chemistry together is exploding

This drama moved my soul 🤣. It’s just one of those rare, rare dramas for me where one is drawn to watch it again after awhile. I loved S1 but fell in love with S2. Just love Go Youn-jung & Lee Jae Wook and so wish they could be in another drama together. Their onscreen chemistry is very believable. As for Crown Prince (Shin Seung-ho) and Maidservant Kim (Oh Na-ra) they were fantastic in their roles. Thoroughly enjoyed their respective scenes.
Thank you netflix, thank you so much for creating Alchemy of Souls and Daeho. This show is a true masterpiece. The writing, the music, the class A acting, the costumes, the effects, the scenarios... Everything is perfect, even the ending... The chemistry between these two is just mesmerizing. They truly deserve all the awards. AMAZING! Thank you to everyone who made this show!!!!!

Jang Uk didn't lie when he said deep down in his heart from the first meeting he already recognized JinBuYeon as a Naksu. Because he unconsciously interested and really care about her. If we recall, when he first kidnapped JinBuYeon, he also looking at her to see if there are the blue mark in her eyes. Even if she is really not a Naksu, I think he would still love her, because as a lonely and the strongest mage, hearing a seemed vulnerable girl want to protect him must be really moved his heart well.

Alchemy Season 2 beautiful moments were perfect for Jang Uk and Naksu/Buyeon. The personality of Go Youn-Jung and Lee Jae-wook suits very well in this beautiful love story. Nobody could portray it much better. It was in Season 2 we can really feel the love in this entire story. Every scene of them together exudes the best chemistry. We can only wish they were a real couple. They look soooo good together. 😊
Season 1 nasku is guarded cause she was raised as an assassin so its hard to notice if she's in love
Season 2 nasku doesn't remember being raised as an assassin so she loves openly and anyone can tell what she's feeling by looking at her
When she got her memories back u can see the change in her from happy and goofy
To sad and angry n I really applaud the actreses that played nasku cause it's really good.

Definitely one of the best dramas that is going to stay engraved in my heart. Credit goes to cast, writers, direction action and all...But predominantly Just them and their chemistry is the reason we miss them so much.

Jang Uk season 2: Being innocent, easily falling inlove to someone that he encounter for the first time, he do everything to protect his loveones especially his wife bu-yeon/naksu
