And when his trust and kindness was sort of crossed or taken for granted, he was able to stand up for himself and express that properly without being an asshole. Love him!!! 🥰

I love it when she says straight out that she wanted to see him, rather than making an excuse or pretending she just happened to be there. She wanted to see him, and it doesn’t even occur to her to BS him. That kind of straightforwardness is common among people with ASD.
I'm in love with this show and their beautifully tender relationship. The purity and innocence of her awakening senses and his gentle, patient courtship is sexier than all the graphic scenes Hollywood produces. I'm hoping there will be a second season! ❤

I think the writer seemed to use "human being" in contrast to animal (whales) instead of a word like "person" to express that attorney Woo really likes Lee jun ho as much as whales. Because autistic Woo was not interested in human being at all including her dad but this was the first time she is interested in human being not whales. :)
JOON-Ho is probably the best lead love interest I ever saw in Kdrama. He is carrying, understanding, he doesn't try to change her, he helps her, he isn't possessive, he gives her space. He truly is a green flag.

As an autistic girl, I can quite confidently say that this drama is very accurate, representative and inclusive! It certainly has my approval😆 there are some parts where it's stereotypical but considering the actress isn't autistic herself, I think it's a nice representation. They've put a lot of thought into it. Personally I relate to a lot of woo young woo's characteristics, not all of them but that just shows that autism is a spectrum!! Really good drama :)

I do know that doors and gates etc can be a big deal - I've always had a strange fascination with them for some reason. Maybe woo young woo's counting is a stim (actions autistic people do to calm themselves down) or because she has to prepare herself for going into a 'new place'. It could be an ocd thing as well. I can't tell you for sure because I don't have this particular quirk and I'm not woo young woo but I do think it is just that: a quirk. Like how she repeats words (echolalia) and doesn't like clothes labels. Sorry if this makes no sense lol

Most people learn how to naturally time it as we get older, but a lot of autistic people are stuck at a certain age one way or another. My autistic nephew, middle of the spectrum, in his 20's cannot cross streets by himself. A simple thing like this is a daunting task for him. My sister says they tend to have poor athletic or basic coordination skills. Watching the revolving door scenes, I was reminded of my nephew.
How is it possible that Extraordinary Attorney Woo hasn't won an Emmy. The story is wonderful, the acting is superb, and the special effects are .....special. Park Eun-bin is simply remarkable.
You know Emmys are mostly for American shows, right? And entered by American studios and voted on by members of American leagues and guilds and associations. There are international entries but mostly other English-language like those from the UK. Korea has its own television awards and those are the ones they care about. People always complain that award shows mean nothing and yet keep whining that their favorites deserve awards.
Clearly my new favorite love story of all fictions ever. That show is so great on all aspects. Entire cast seems to have so much fun making the show. Perfect balance of humor, romance, court stuff, suspense and twist.

I don't know, I LMAO when Young Woo is talking to Han Seon-yeong in the elevator and Seon-young asks her if she has any personal troubles, and YW starts talking about how difficult it is to kiss someone on the lips. And Seon-yeong was totally shocked. I still cackle with laughter at the scene.
Had you watched Judge vs Judge? She is a hot tempered judge in this drama. Her, being a child actress whom played a lot of character can really pulled off any role she is taking.

These two are definitely one of my favorite kdrama couples! They are both green flags but they are not perfect people. They both have shortcomings but the thing is..they just perfectly balance each other. Junho's love language is act of service and taking care of Young Woo makes him happy. YW is straightforward and honest too and it always makes JH surprised. YW is talkative with her interests and JH is a good listener and support system. JH also knows how to advice YW and teach her in a way that he's supporting her rather than imposing things on her. And of course, their love for each other is unconditional and genuine and all I wish if for them to be happy in the end. 😭😭

It was obvious already at the start of they're meeting that they would end up at least dating the love they have for eachother truly shows in many parts. I also have two grandsons with autism. I watched this series with great interest re autism, however I am a little bit smitten with Lee Junho . I feel his acting skills are wonderful and natural.....and everyone would love to have a Lee Junho in their lives, including Nanna's.....
I have a grandson that has Asperger syndrome. I think it’s called like woo young woo. He doesn’t know how to respond to people. He’s very very bright, but he’s awkward so he could see when someone tells a joke or says something funny and others are laughing that he will laugh, and then he hast to watch to see what he supposed to stop laughing. He tries so hard.
I'm a 55 year old man. I don't watch chick flicks. I've never been a helpless romantic. Why does this make my heart so happy? Why do I have to keep wiping my eyes? When she panics and runs away...just too cute.

One of the warmest Korean drama that I wish to have a sequel. the sequel when they got married, have a husband and wife time and having a children. I think it is much interesting how a person w/ autism and a very normal one could survived the marriage.
In one interview, Eun-bin said that her favorite Young-woo x Jun-ho scene was not aired yet. She was interviewed in between ep 11-12. Still not losing hope for a happy ending because of this. 🥹 But I wanna cry while thinking about ep 14 😭

I enjoyed watching this series so much . I'm lowkey sad that its over. The scenes they had together were so wholesome and adorable. I caught myself grinning every time.

Men like this do exist IRL but most lack the looks department so go straight to the friendzone (to be clear I'm not blaming women, men and women both go for looks it's just human nature). Also, I see a lot of comments do this (especially kdrama) but setting fictional characters as your standard is not healthy for you or your partner to live upto that expectation. Lastly, from personal experience people who call *most men* red flags/toxic tend to be red flags themselves. Probably best to work on self improvement and your taste, rather than blame other people from the get go.
I've been into kdramas since 2014 and they are my happy places. I can easily go down the memory lane with them. They are my kind of dramas. No vulgarity, no show off just some hand holding and sweet kisses...my definition of affection and love ❤️
I really love the writing, actors ,story direction, dialogues of the story in young woo, it had everything in it, suspense, love, knowledge, courage,humor,cuteness. Very few series are able to capture emotions in so suble way, the way current issues are tackled which are common across boundaries of the world, is engrasping and tear deep down in ones heart, its really a worth multiwatch series, and Worth waiting for next season .😊👍👌

These two are definitely one of my favorite kdrama couples! They are both green flags but they are not perfect people. They both have shortcomings but the thing is..they just perfectly balance each other. Junho's love language is act of service and taking care of Young Woo makes him happy. YW is straightforward and honest too and it always makes JH surprised. YW is talkative with her interests and JH is a good listener and support system. JH also knows how to advice YW and teach her in a way that he's supporting her rather than imposing things on her. And of course, their love for each other is unconditional and genuine and all I wish if for them to be happy in the end. 😭😭

I love jun Ho in this k drama, he’s knows exactly when woo young woo needs comfort and help. Usually when other people see autistic people they don’t have a lot of patience with them. But this man, this man is the gentlest and most caring person I’ve ever seen. Material husband istg

I couldn't be happier about the fact that they ended up together in the end after the breakup. It was obvious already at the start of they're meeting that they would end up at least dating the love they have for eachother truly shows in many parts. I also have two grandsons with autism. I watched this series with great interest re autism, however I am a little bit smitten with Lee Junho . I feel his acting skills are wonderful and natural.....and everyone would love to have a Lee Junho in their lives, including Nanna's.....
I have a grandson that has Asperger syndrome. I think it’s called like woo young woo. He doesn’t know how to respond to people. He’s very very bright, but he’s awkward so he could see when someone tells a joke or says something funny and others are laughing that he will laugh, and then he hast to watch to see what he supposed to stop laughing. He tries so hard.

Men like this do exist IRL but most lack the looks department so go straight to the friendzone (to be clear I'm not blaming women, men and women both go for looks it's just human nature). Also, I see a lot of comments do this (especially kdrama) but setting fictional characters as your standard is not healthy for you or your partner to live upto that expectation.
Lastly, from personal experience people who call *most men* red flags/toxic tend to be red flags themselves. Probably best to work on self improvement and your taste, rather than blame other people from the get go.
A lot of men should take a lesson from Kang Tae Oh on how to treat a woman and everyone.
I've been into kdramas since 2014 and they are my happy places. I can easily go down the memory lane with them. They are my kind of dramas. No vulgarity, no show off just some hand holding and sweet kisses...my definition of affection and love ❤️

I really love the writing, actors ,story direction, dialogues of the story in young woo, it had everything in it, suspense, love, knowledge, courage,humor,cuteness. Very few series are able to capture emotions in so suble way, the way current issues are tackled which are common across boundaries of the world, is engrasping and tear deep down in ones heart, its really a worth multiwatch series, and Worth waiting for next season .😊👍👌
