Very nice. They do several sailing vessels and a couple of motoryachts, but back in the day (no longer in production) their motorboats were converted sailing boats of very light weight with tiny engines (30, 60, 80 hp etc.) that were incredibly fuel efficient (but could also be quick).
This is a great charter boat or even a superb boat to own if you want to go through the French canals and also want to go into the Med. Finally a boat builder has been paying attention ! Price is also good, we might actually be willing to buy one, use it for a couple of year and then sell it again. The French canals have been on top of our wish list, but our own boat is simply a touch too big. Very nice. Thanks for the tour.
Great video. Quality tour and camera work of an interesting boat! Good value at that price, though would be interested in how much the extra specs add to it. Thanks for that.
I'm not a boat expert at all .but I'm curious about little items specifically hull thickness and how they are constructed. Something that is never mentioned in reviews. I like this Northman and the Marex. Yes the Marex is well appointed but the costs of comparably sized boat are very very different. Along with some other equally sized boats which I can't remember off the top of my head
These boats are not built for heavy seas, they are built for coastal waters and canals. The interior is nothing special, but as a charter or a private boat it will be enough. Just don't be too rough with the boat and you will be fine. If you want to go through the French canals you don't need speed, you don't need wind force 10 sea worthiness, this boat will do. You can take 6 persons in a form of luxury and comfort, which is more than enough. This boat fills a place in the market that has been available for quite some years. There were canal boats and there were off shore boats, this is a bit of a cross over.
I mean what a Great Boat for the money...I don't think anyone can beat this deal!
Thanks for showing the price!
That's a lot of value for the price!
Sure is. Thanks for watching.

whats the benefit of having one engine? having 2 gives you redundancy incase of any engine trouble, does having 1 gives you more range?
Yes it does also reduces initial purchase price, service maintenance and fuel costs. Thanks for watching.
😁👍👋
The price doesn’t make sense. Fantastic value.

⭐⭐⭐
is this a CE Class B OR A?
Elling makes selfrighting on all models. That's why they're all A-rated.
The Northman 1300 is CE B rated.
