When Alice sees the demon and finally really goes in with the piano playing, you can see orange waves going out from her fingers into the piano keys, meaning she's really channelling the protection magick at that point (so it's not just a random jam session).
this is by FAR the greatest reaction to this episode and its musical number and i've seen many so far. The song is INCREDIBLE and the fact that the song has been adapted so far 3 times (the secret chant version which would be the "original" in episode 2, the true detective version from episode 1 and the fleetwood-ish version of this episode 4) is a BIG shout out to Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (the ones responsables for Frozen, Coco and other amazing hits). I'm still wondering if we'll hear another version of it. I really hope so. What I love about the show is that nothing is randomly thrown. For eg, the wardrobe: each style represent a female singer from the time: Alice is Janis Joplin, Jen is Diana Ross, Teen is Mick Jagger, Lilia is Liza Minelli (fun fact here Patti Lupone and Liza are friends in real life and they are both Broadway's iconic names) and then Rio and Agatha are different versiones of CHER. Anyway, Alakai, marry me
don't overlook the "original Lorna Wu version" which they actually recorded, distorted and played backward for the curse / record bit. It's sung by a South Korean rock LEGEND and is also a banger!
@17:17 Remember when Lilia blurted out "I love you guys" during Episode 3 when they were all poisoned and their faces were swollen. I think that line was supposed to be what she was going to say here. Her consciousness shifts from one period of her life to another (from future to past). Remember when she also said "Get off me." during Episode 2. That could also be a psychic shift from this episode when the curse was on her and she was curled up on the floor. She was also saying "Get it off me." which is something along the same line. This means that all the other words that Lilia has blurted in previous episodes will make sense in future episodes. "Try to protect Agatha" - she said it in Episode 3, in the bathroom with Agatha. "What is it? Am I wispy or kooky?" - she said this episode. "Alice. Alice, don't" - another one from this episode.
The song was so good! It’s been stuck in my head since last week lmao. I love this show so much! It’s so perfect for Halloween but honestly it’s just a solid show in general.
As a Gay person myself it’s great to see straight men reacting favorably yo a shoe like this You’ve gained cool guy points with me I’m a new subscriber. Love you gentlemen
Awesome reaction! I think Rio might actually be Lady Death, same hood design and the same dagger Death wields; and remember Agatha begged her not to take the teen’s body?
17:25 I'm pretty sure Lilia's pause was already filled in in episode 3 when she says "I really love you guys" out of nowhere. ETA: 22:20 While I've always been on the side that says Teen being Agatha's son is a red herring, all Rio says is "That boy isn't yours." She doesn't say he isn't Agatha's son. If Agatha gave up her son for the Darkhold, her son would no longer be hers. He would belong to whomever she traded the kid to, and Rio's statement would still be true.
I absolutely loved your reactions for the episodes trial and I love how the coven is actually starting to bond especially with agatha lowering her guard with teen and being comfortable with the group now. Agatha's relationship with Rio is so interesting because you can see their is lots of love their as well as lots of hurt and I have a theory that rio's character is associated with death in some capacity, especially with her stating about needing to collect bodies and first appearing out of Sharon's grave but we'll just have to see.
Right? I feel like we've only known these characters for a short amount of time but I already really love them especially Alice. She just feels so genuine as a character. A+ acting job and great writing combined I think!
Great reaction! Can't wait for the mystery to unravel. There are many clues in this episode: In the sound booth, Rio says that Agatha kills the witches around her (to get them out of her way), but then Rio gets to take the bodies. When she was first summoned, Rio mentions, "I was in the area" (i.e., taking the body of the freshly buried Sharon). At the end discussing their scars, Rio said there was something she didn't want to do, it hurt someone she loved, but it was her job. Perhaps taking dead bodies to the underworld? Guess who rules there (hint, the name starts with M). And remember what Jen said how Agatha got the Darkhold. Regarding Wanda's son Billy: There is comic book lore of him: Though Billy and Tommy's bodies dissolved when Wanda ended the Hex, their souls continued. Wanda's Hex ended 3 years ago, when Teen was 13, and he said to Alice " a lot of stuff" also happened in him at 13. Also, the end credits with Joe Locke's name: A newspaper headline saying "Near death in local auto accident".
I actually believe what Rio said to agatha about teen not being her son, but it makes me wonder if rio was the one that placed the sigil on teen when see first visited agatha when she was under the spell in westview or did teen put the sigil on himself? I also do think teen is wanda's son but if I remembered correctly the last time we saw both of her sons in westview they were 10 and how did he come back after wanda dismantled the spell and if he is from another multiverse how did he travel without powers, so many questions to be answered but I absolutely adore the show thus far.
I'm hoping I'm right and that Lilia's challenge will be towards the end of the series, maybe even episode 8? I love all the witches, but at the moment Lilia is just edging the others out from the spot of favourite. She's so kind and wise, while still being a snarky bitch. I still stand by my theory however that her past (and that is a long long time) has a lot more darkness in it than she shows. Not just what she has seen and experienced, but I reckon SHE may have been a "stereotypical EVIL witch" at some point. Agatha's trial will be next. Can't hardly wait!
As to Teens identity: Personally I think Teen is Wiccan, and that his soul jumped into Teen 3 years ago when the hex collapsed. Perhaps the Teen died in a car crash simultaneously and Billy’s soul either merged with or replaced his soul. However we should not dismiss the idea that he is Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s son. Imho, some people are making too much of Rio telling Agatha, “That boy is not yours.” Some are saying that that comment is definitive proof that Teen is not Nick. Not so fast! An alternative reading may be “That boy is not yours because you gave him away; he belongs to Mephisto.” As I said, I think he is Wiccan, but us I still think the Nick Scratch hypothesis holds weight. As for why Rio was summoned: Primarily, she is death and was in the grave of Sharon when the spell was cast. But Lilia may be the one who sealed the deal! Lila adds, “let her be the best at her craft”. If Rio is THE Green witch as she claims, then there was no one else who would qualify.
Rio I believe told Agatha the truth that Teen isn't her son. She could see the concern for him when he was hurt on Agatha's face. Rio didn't want Agatha to suffer more thinking her son was back, when Rio knows he's not. It was her olive branch to Agatha. Wanda's twins were 10 years old at the end of WV. I don't know how much they will stick to the comics, but Wanda'a kids were reincarnated in the bodies of 2 different kids. Billy Maximoff became Billy Kaplin. I don't remember who Tommy became other than his superhero name Speed. I do think that one of these witches is the one who put the sigil on Teen. I have my money on Jenn. I think she knowingly caused Sharon to die. I think that stuff she told Alice to put on her pressure points is somehow going to kill her. I think Alice will be the next to die.

tbf this is a really good quality show from the visuals to the story writing, a good hook from the beginning
Your reactions are so great❤😭 So much emotion and actual attention

Kathryn and Aubrey looked too damn good in this episode! They are always so fine! 😩The whole cast looked amazing!!!! Love this show!

I gotta admit, I love Alice too. I think all the actors are doing a great job. But Alice is someone I'd trust to have my back in a bad situation.

pay attention to the leaves on the road, it tells you what trial is next based on the color of the witch.
I Love ur reactions guyss ❤
Great reaction! Really loved the song too!

Billy was 10 at the end of Wandavision.

Real “men”reaction to a show like this lol
😂
❤❤❤
I doubt the cteature is animatronic. It's likely just a person in a suit/make-up as is common on stuff like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Star Trek.
In the comics Wanda created a soul for Billy when she created him and that soul found a body to inhabit. I think that is what is going on here as well

Alice 💔
Well, we all know who my favourite which is 👀
