  • On this edition of Flying Lessons, we take Neil's A36 Beechcraft Bonanza to Marianna, Fla., to execute some turns around a point above the site of a friend's BBQ fundraiser. After snapping some aerial photos, we head to Marianna Municipal Airport (MAI) for landing practice.

Love to see your patience with your students Troy... Wish I lived closer, I would love to continue my training with a CFI like yourself.

Another great video and so happy to see that Neal is taking to that sweet A36. I can tell he loves the Bonanza but also likes that AC! 😂. Videos are valuable even for an old Beech guy like myself. Your in person instrument instruction and critique of my old ways has def helped me get back confident in the area of IFR! The other commenter is right; you are gonna get known for the value of these videos and your instructional ability in Beech aircraft!

You only have 223 subscribers. Can’t believe it. Not for long. One day you will be big. Love your channel!!! Remember I said it first.

Thanks for the kind words! Still working to find the ideal camera angles & editing procedures. You’d think I’d be better at it considering I’m a TV reporter!

Photo mission in a fast low wing, what are you thinking Troy? You need to borrow my Cardinal.

It's Merritt's Millpond. I have spent many hours on that clear water. It is actually drained right now. I still don't understand why 36 is right traffic and 18 is left traffic. It's dangerous!

My CFI during primary training said that I was good at crosswind landings because I never landed straight anyway😀

I am just curious, from my observation this student pilot is not ready to be in high performance plane, such as a Bonanza. Especially, if he is working on a instrument rating. Dont you think, this is an over load for situation like this?
