question: whats a "Ballpark" cost for an annual on this plane without any issues to fix etc.
Meaning is, if plane owners are required to have an annual done. In this case they found that cracked back plate that could have become a major issue if it happened say a month before annual was due. Luckily this time the issue was caught in time. My guess is annuals are not cheap enough to have done maybe every 6 months if you fly a lot during the year etc.

Years ago I was flying a Mooney 252 at FL230 from Boulder, CO to St. Louis. Denver and Kansas City Centers referred to me as a King Air….

It slows you down in a hurry! The food is great at lunch/dinner - recommend a full order of the cod and some red velvet cake for dessert. Scrumptious!

Thanks! I try to take good care of her. The pink is actually the dye penetrant we used to confirm it was, in fact, a crack. No idea why it formed.
