Dearly miss my 2003 Red matrix xrs. The new owner lost control and ended up wrecking the car unfortunately. I will soon be supercharging my dads 1zz matrix soon. Got all the parts for it
I came across your Honda dealer stuff and just liked the channel. I’m also liking the Honda build. I never knew there was a big celica following until I came across your channel. Keep it up!
I subbed to you because I found your video where you were resealing the 2zz on your XRS and installing the 1zz oil pan onto the 2zz. I had just gotten my 2zz for my celica around that time. So, your video was very helpful in the steps of installing the gasket and putting it back together. After that I honestly just enjoyed watching your content especially, your junkyard runs. Plus, I enjoyed your livestreams when your cousin would play Resident Evil 4. Happy birthday Sebastian, enjoy it man!🎉
Lol hey there’s a name I remember! Glad you are still around in the channel. Yea my cousin moved out so he’s back home unfortunately. Gotta bring back the live streams tho. Also thanks fam 🙏
I followed because I finally bought the 7th Gen Celica GT-S this time last year and have been soaking up the community. Done a lot of work to it, but your vids (and others) did help a lot. Love to see these things get talked about and presented, never gets old!
I initially followed your channel because of your knowledge on the 2zz. It's been years. I have been working on my Corolla XRS to be road worthy. You have given me the motivation to work on my own car, to once again be my daily. Clutch, axles, trans and common 2zz issues so far I have tackled.
Happy birthday C Bass.... I found your channel when I was researching rear disc brakes on an 8th gen, but it was your matrix content that got me coming back. I have rear disc brake swapped 2 9th gen corollas and a 1st gen matrix... i used to own an 8 th gen.... now you have ne considering picking up a 7th gen celica. Watching your video is like hanging with you in your back yard 🎉
Been watching for years. Mostly looking for info on 2zz mods. I blew the original 1zz in my Mr2 Spyder and wanted to learn more as i was went ahead and did a 2ZZ swap on the spyder. Not as cool as when Takumi blew his motor, but just as devasting. Thanks for the vids.
Clayton just finished another 2zz swap on a spyder so you’ll get some mr2 content in the next couple of days. I remember that episode of initial D back when Netflix had the whole series I watched it all!
the clutch job on the Celica is what roped me in. helped me through that job awhile ago now. appreciate you! thanks for your help along the way! you've helped me out on IG too so I appreciate that as well!
Your timing chain cover gasket videos got me driving on the road again. Stayed to help make fun of clay. Thanks for all the 9th gen rolla videos, you're a huge part of the community!
Hello from Italy again! I subscribed back then when I got an oil leak on my 2zzge celica ! Your video of the timing chain cover gasket repair helped me a lot. I got even secondary air so got to remove exhaust manifold, it was a big job, and replaced water pump and lift bolts too. Starting from there I even replaced 3 wheel bearings, fuel pump and filter, shocks and springs, rotors etc. So thank you for making me start to repair my car ! I truly hope to see even more content for 2zzge and Celica that can help me to repair my car. 😊
You had about 2k subscribers and when I owned my first Gen7 you were making content that inspired me to get a project 2zzge Gen7 that I currently have waiting to be worked on, I’ve seen you and clay do so much projects it’s insane! I’m wanting to do my engine swap myself but if I lived in CA I would of definitely let it to the hands of both of you! One of my favorite videos are your junkyard finds and whenever clay is in the video, you make a great comedian, I’m in El Paso Texas! Enjoy your birthday week 🎉
Damn 2k subs?! You’ve been here for a cool minute then! Junk yard finds and for sure my favorite for the channel and I’m glad eveyone seems to think the same. Thanks fam really enjoying my time in Texas. Here till Friday
I’ve done 4 timing chain cover jobs all thanks to your videos! I can honestly say I wouldn’t have done it without your help! Thank for the content bro. 🔥
I don't recall specifically what caused me to subscribe, but I can list a few things that kept bringing me back: -you have great content that goes into details and pros/cons of stuff -you discuss things that other Celica/2zz videos might not bring up -you host live streams and you make an effort to answer every question you can on it (thanks, btw). -you're not selling microfiber towels with your name on them -your stuff has helped me to know what to look for when working on my 2zz and at junkyards, etc. and to not be afraid when taking on a project. Thanks for the great content! Keep up the good work!
Well deserved! Love all of the 7th gen Celica/Matrix 2zz and 1zz content ~ really appreciate your teaching us how to repair and keep these engines going. Hope to get a Celica & Matrix in the near future Seeing you save parts from the junkyard also inspires me
Congrats on the milestone and Happy late Birthday!!🤟🏼 Found your channel when I was looking for rear disc conversions and then got stuck watching your junkyard runs and seeing Clayton buy so many celicas made me feel like being there irl with the old days with my homies!! Shoutout for never gatekeeping and always showing the answers to our questions🤣
i subscribed because you are one of the few people who makes videos on the 2zz and what to look out for/ how to work on them, its really helped me out a lot! Congrats on 20k.
Happy Birthday! I discovered and followed your channel after seeing a couple Celica meet videos and your GT-SIX not long after purchasing my first car (Gen 6 Celica). Love the PickNPull and 6GC content.
Hey Sebas congrats on 20k! I started watching you because of the Celica content as you are one of the only people who still upload Celica content. I'm not sure if there was a specific video that brought me to your account but I'm glad to say that I enjoy all of your videos equally and enjoy all of your UA-cam series. Thank you for all of the fun content you create and for truly carrying the Celica/Toyota community on UA-cam 😁👍
The 2ZZ timing chain cover gasket job video is what helped me out the most on your channel. I watch it almost every other week so I can memorize what to do when I eventually tackle the job itself lol. Thank you for all you do for the Toyota 2ZZ/1ZZ community 👌🏼
I just recently found your videos. I love watching the treasure hunts at the Pick n Pulls around California. Awesome builds 👍 Bro continue your success. Love that you're a down to earth Man.
Congrats! I love watching your content. I started watching after I got my first Celica a couple years ago. I even bought an APR strut bar from you which I now have on my second Celica haha! Keep doing what you're doing!
I found your channel because I was trying to figure out how to do a timing chain cover in the car with a 2zz... Also it's really cool how you put the part numbers on there so people don't have to try to search blindly... Now you got the 6th gen supercharged... keep up the good work man... save the dragons
@@2zzlow Damn that sucks! hopefully he was able to salvage most of the tsunami stuff from it to live on another celi. Great job on the build nonetheless!
i think the first video a saw from your channel was the corolla vs civic si video, im a 2zzge enthusiast, i love them and im proud of my 2002 2zzge swap toyota celica GT. I have always liked your content. keep it up and Happy Birthday!
I own a 2000 Toyota celica gt , dubbed cz I saw the rear disc conversion and also seeing ur a tech and getting insight on the trade . Started my “career” doin oil changes in valvoline then being a lube tech at Chevy. Watching videos of the tech life gives me inspiration to muscle thru the lube tech stage 😂
All of the 7th gen content is what is interested me in the channel, I think I started watching when you had 2k subscribers, videos are awesome, can’t wait to see more, also like the junkyard runs
First video I found was the timing chain cover gasket video, I like the fact that you included all the part numbers man. You make some good content brotha, keep it up 👍
You know I have to enter. Your celica videos and your videos when you talk about your job at Honda are great. Would also like to see videos working on cars a bit more.
I’ve been told to throw in some more time lapse in my videos and yea I have a few more installs like the new 2zz needs to eventually go in my Corolla XRS so stay tuned because I will also be supercharging it. Day in the life Honda videos are also doing good for the channel
The "Clayton's cursed Celica" & project's white shark & the $900 dollar celica videos are what brought me to the channel. Without this channel and being from Norcal I wouldn't be able to see the celica community in the area and know you as a person personally. Your videos also helped me learn a thing or two about our zz's and toyota's. Hope your enjoying your time out there in Texas!
long time IG follower as i've a love affair with the 2zz for over a decade. funnily enough, that whole mitch dore drama is what solidified me as a YT subscriber. and of course, the crazy informative content you put out!
The first video that drew me in was looking for inspiriation when I got my own toyota corolla S. I watched the video of you installing some rare parts on your dad's matrix, as well as the seat installation you did also. I am a new subscriber but have been definitely using all your knowledge to get myself lined up to have the sickest corolla! Thanks for all the help!! Happy birthday!!
Subbed when I watched your “ day in the life of a Honda tech” explaining all the procedures that you have to go thru and rise up from a lube tech to a line tech” . It’s was very touching and your explanation of your journey from lube tech to line tech was very inspirational
I want to put out more content about this but I also need to be very careful when recording at the dealership. Will try to do more videos in the department. Thanks for the words fam!
Hopefully with the slower days approaching us I can record some more at the dealership. Most definitely need a tool box update video. I got some new stuff during Black Friday
Appreciate all the 1zz/2zz in particular Matrix and corolla xrs content, more than a few of your videos walked me throught the process of repairs. Also Appreciate you always being helpful and answering questions for the community. P.s. been a bit we need you and clay to do a live stream
Damn lol the livestreams. Yea it’s been almost a year since the last one we did but it’s mainly because we are tired after work. Maybe I’ll see if he wants to do it on a Saturday
Your junkyard haul videos finding tsunami and trd parts . Inspired me to go look for parts on my Celi then i would watch your install videos like rear valance etc.. i even enjoy the Honda tech videos since my girl has a newer Civic hatchback helps me look out for any problems it has
I have no complaints on those new civics other than the stupid ac compressor, condensers and evaporators leaking so make sure you have coverage because only the condenser and compressor seal are covered from factory
happy birthday bro! i don’t think i can participate as im from the UK, but the first video i ever watched was “how to wire up the brake light in the spoiler” - my first celica wasn’t a real GT (what you call GTS), and the guy who put the spoiler on didn’t wire it up
Subbed when I saw nor-cal meetups. Glad to see the scene is still alive. Use to go to them in 02-03, then moved to Texas in 04. What are you doing in Dallas?
California Celica scene is far from dead and that’s what I like about the community. I’m just out on a vacation trip in Texas. I’ll be leaving Dallas tommorow and going to Waco then Austin.
Happy birthday dude! Hope you enjoyed it! and congrats on 20k! One of the first videos I watched of yours was the install/review on the monkey wrench shift linkage metal bushings and then your juunkyard videos after that and ive been hooked ever since. Need more junkyard hunts maybe one in Texas? lol jk just enjoy your bday bro!
I subscribed when I found your video about going to the local salvage yard iPull uPull. I started to do the same at the local one here in Sac to see what kind of gem I can find.
It’s been a few years I’ve been watching. I think the video I first seen was the wiring of the spoiler light. I’ve learned a lot about doing different things to my celica. The videos are funny! I’m still rockin the white celica shirt u did. 🤙🏾
First discovered your channel when you got your 6th gen Celica cause am a huge fan of that generation and as well got one my self keep it up brother am also a huge Toyota/lexus fan lol
The video "My last day as a Honda Express Lube Tech..." is what got me into your channel. I was looking for a video on someone working as a lube tech for Honda since I was gonna start at Honda soon, and sure enough your video popped up. Anyways, your channel as been informative when it comes to tools and on Honda. I enjoy watching them. Good shit and congrats on 20k 🙏🏼👍🎉
I originally subscribed because of my 06 Corolla XRS. It was my first “performance “ car and was my dream car for over 7 years until I finally got one in 2017. Drove it from 168k to 220k until I got in a wreck. But ya the lift in that thang was amazing. Miss it dearly. I originally subscribed I think after seeing the Celica content, and the video of the XRS vs Nissan 350z from 6 years ago. Deleted the other comment I made.
Dropping the c60 in the Corolla XRS and the excedy clutch issues got me to subscribe and the Mr2 Spyder videos keep me interested because I have a Spyder and a XRS. I like your interest in cars they seem the same as mine. Your content is awesome!
Originally subbed because i watched youre video on how to change the transmission mount on the Celica. Literally just finished the job today. Couldn't of done it without the instructions. Still a learning DIYer. Love the day in the life content too. #celicalove
Yea going back and watching the original streams that seem to have gotten a lot of attention from the subscribers and donations. I gotta get clay to do them again with me
Happy Birthday🎉, do you know which hardware exactly do I need to install Celica 02 fiberglass TRD side skirts and rear lip? I ask Mitch dore but he never replied😂
Just follow my install video for the rear lip that I have on my channel and for the side skirts some self tapping screws should do the job. Make sure you treat those holes if you live in a salt belt state.
@@2zzlow thanks man!!! Yeah, I follow you guys on Instagram too. I've actually hit him up a few times about a bar. I've been rebuilding a 2zz, almost ready to put in.
Happy belated🎉 i subscribed because im a Toyota celica fan, 5th gens are my favorite. Sold the celicas I have a 93 mr2 now 😅 Dont need the tools. Keep it up.
I have my 2005 XRS since Dec 2004 brand new and in original condition has 160000 miles on it. Needed to do maintenance and minor repairs on it and decided to do it myself. Mechanics are really expensive. Good content
The video that got me to subscribe was “why did I buy an automatic Toyota Celica?”!and when I looked up celica videos on UA-cam, this channel was recommended and the content was good and I was surprised u were also from the Bay Area and you and Clay also helped me with a 2zz engine swap so appreciate that 🙏 also got to see the V6 celica in person at the last celica meet beautiful car 🔥🙏🤙🏻
Bro I forgot to ask you but is that engine you got still going? That shit did not look good when we popped it open. We had to run a few engine cleaning solutions to try to remove all that crap that was inside the engine
@@2zzlow yea I haven’t had any issues with the engine and I also use the engine cleaner every oil change and it runs good the only thing was that it didn’t hit lift but after the last oil change I cleaned the OCV filter and everything and it runs good and I don’t get the lift error code anymore the only thing it has right now is a leaking valve cover gasket but that’s a easy fix 🤙🏻
Yooooo seabass . I think I been watching since last year or so . I love all the videos bout yotas ... I can surely put those tools to use on my Matrix Xr ,Lexus Es 300 as well and whoever else needs a Hand wrenchhing
The LED headlight install on your Toyota Matrix. I installed one on my Matrix after watching that video. Been a couple years now and I need to replace and clean my headlight again.
What’s up bro! Subbed to you when I first saw the Altis tailights install videos and mainly watched for the xrs and 2zz vids. I have been to your arcade in Stockton once Looooooong before I was a subscriber. Maybe I should come by with my XRS or RCF one day for you to check out since I’m local in the Central Valley!
Everything in your channel man. Pick and pull runs with Clay, Clay taking over your channel sometime (buying celicas), installing parts, celica meets and honda tech life.
Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉 my first car was a tsunami edition gts and that sucker was leaking oil bad, ur timing chain video really saved me i was a complete car noob at that time took me about a 4 days to finish it but no leaks afterwards lol. Appreciate all the helpful videos
The Mitch Dore videos lmao... Incase you didn't know I was the one that first noticed Mitch swapping lower millage clusters but was too lazy and didn't give a fawk to say anything until I saw that one guy with the Greddy super charged matrix get hated by the Mitch Dore fan girls. I gave him the screen shots that showed all the times Mitch Dore swapped clusters and sold celica's with rolled back millage. You're welcome!
Celica celica celica ive watched you build your blue 7th gen and the v6. Only person ive watched that gives an in detail description on how to convert parts of the celica

Thanks fam and for sticking around to the channel! Get that Corolla looking awesome!
Oh I am definitely trying! I am always finding more and more inspiration from your channel! @@2zzlow
I would say the day in the life as a honda tech we need more of thise and a tool box update tour 🙏
Hopefully with the slower days approaching us I can record some more at the dealership. Most definitely need a tool box update video. I got some new stuff during Black Friday
Late to the party, but... Junkyard videos is how I found you! Also, happy belated birthday!!
Awesome! Thank you! Love the junk yard videos, easiest to record and always like uploading them. Favorite for the channel
The video of 2zz flaw 🤝 love your content man!
Appreciate it!! Still rocking that 1zz oil pan on my Corolla XRS with 280k miles
I love all your videos bro! 😉 keep up the good work hope you reach 100k soon!
Thanks fam! Trying my hardest
@@2zzlow yes exactly what happened to my girls ac , it went out at around 40k miles gladly they recalled it
happy birthday bro! i don’t think i can participate as im from the UK, but the first video i ever watched was “how to wire up the brake light in the spoiler” - my first celica wasn’t a real GT (what you call GTS), and the guy who put the spoiler on didn’t wire it up
I’ll make an exception for you since you interact with a lot of my videos. I’ll let you enter.
@@2zzlow ahh legend! appreciate that
Subbed when I saw nor-cal meetups.
@@2zzlow make sure to check out bucees
Is lulling the biggest one in Texas correct?
Happy birthday dude! Hope you enjoyed it! and congrats on 20k! One of the first videos I watched of yours was the install/review on the monkey wrench shift linkage metal bushings and then your juunkyard videos after that and ive been hooked ever since. Need more junkyard hunts maybe one in Texas? lol jk just enjoy your bday bro!
Bro lol when my girl friend saw I was looking up junk yards here in Texas she rolled her eyes haaaaard lol 😂 I’d go but I have no tools 🛠️
Just tell her its what your 20k subs are into, her vision shouuld return to normal 🤣
The 2zz swap and junk yard videos got me to sub. Love the Toyota content.
Thanks for the sub! Junk yard videos are for sure my favorite to record
Happy birthday!!! 🎉 2ZZ-GE !!!🎊
thanks fam!
I subscribed when I found your video about going to the local salvage yard iPull uPull. I started to do the same at the local one here in Sac to see what kind of gem I can find.
Ohhh snap you in Sacramento? You’ll probably see me in both planet auto and pick n pull in Rancho Cordova.
Subbed after watching your V6 Celica swap videos
Very fun car glad you stayed! Thanks fam
The video that got me to join is you installing a TRD muffler on your rolla. Congrats on that 20k
Classic! Lol 😂 one of my first mods
It’s been a few years I’ve been watching. I think the video I first seen was the wiring of the spoiler light.
I’ve learned a lot about doing different things to my celica.
The videos are funny!
I’m still rockin the white celica shirt u did. 🤙🏾
Dude! Awesome! I need to do an updated shirt design. I have some ideas that I need to put out!
Matrix rear disc conversion first video I watched with a lot of good info
Thanks fam!
First discovered your channel when you got your 6th gen Celica cause am a huge fan of that generation and as well got one my self keep it up brother am also a huge Toyota/lexus fan lol
Nice thank you! Really enjoy my 6th gen
2zz Timing chain cover leak videos helped alot!!
Thank you for watching!
I gotta upload more Honda line tech video rather than shorts. I like to help those that want to get into the field.
The Toyota and Honda content just be hitting different I cannot lie
thanks fam! trying to slowly creep the honda content in the channel! hahaha
That’s my fear literally every day I drive my XRS which is my daily. You can’t tell how others will drive out in the real world.
@@2zzlowNo doubt, I live here in the DFW metroplex btw. Over in Ft.Worth. Welcome to TX.
Thanks fam! Enjoying my stay and will be traveling down to Austin in the next 2 days
Dropping the c60 in the Corolla XRS and the excedy clutch issues got me to subscribe and the Mr2 Spyder videos keep me interested because I have a Spyder and a XRS. I like your interest in cars they seem the same as mine. Your content is awesome!
few mr2 spyder videos coming soon!
Originally subbed because i watched youre video on how to change the transmission mount on the Celica. Literally just finished the job today. Couldn't of done it without the instructions. Still a learning DIYer. Love the day in the life content too. #celicalove
Seems like a lot of people like those “day in the life” content. Might throw another one out soon for you guys.
Happy Birthday, 1zz blue corolla, 2zzge rebuild & lsd transmission rebuild & install, Junk Yard Finds 👍, Thanks for all the info. & education
Junk yard videos are for sure my favorite ❤️ thanks fam
Started watching you right before the live streams but the early streams were hilarious
Yea going back and watching the original streams that seem to have gotten a lot of attention from the subscribers and donations. I gotta get clay to do them again with me
@@2zzlow gotta get the del taco fund back up and running 😂
Happy Birthday🎉, do you know which hardware exactly do I need to install Celica 02 fiberglass TRD side skirts and rear lip? I ask Mitch dore but he never replied😂
Just follow my install video for the rear lip that I have on my channel and for the side skirts some self tapping screws should do the job. Make sure you treat those holes if you live in a salt belt state.
Clayton working on the MR2 got me into it 💪🏼 thanks guys!! Good luck everyone 💯👊🏼
You're in! Clay has some mr2 content coming to the channel. He just finished another 2zz bar swap mr2
@@2zzlow thanks man!!! Yeah, I follow you guys on Instagram too. I've actually hit him up a few times about a bar. I've been rebuilding a 2zz, almost ready to put in.
Happy belated🎉
i subscribed because im a Toyota celica fan, 5th gens are my favorite.
Sold the celicas
I have a 93 mr2 now 😅
Dont need the tools.
Keep it up.
Thanks for the sub! Mr2 also a Toyota so you are welcome in my book!
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great coming year 🥳
thanks fam!
@lungsfullofsmoke7104 bro that’s good I’m glad it ended up working out
Any Celica 6 gen vid mate , I have the gen 6 gt4, 👍🏻, get those tools ready for me bud!
Gotta give everyone a fair chance but thanks for watching!
Is Fernando still working at Livermore Honda?
Yooooo seabass . I think I been watching since last year or so . I love all the videos bout yotas ... I can surely put those tools to use on my Matrix Xr ,Lexus Es 300 as well and whoever else needs a Hand wrenchhing
Thanks fam stick around more info to come and good luck on the giveaway!
The LED headlight install on your Toyota Matrix. I installed one on my Matrix after watching that video. Been a couple years now and I need to replace and clean my headlight again.
Those LED lights are still working since I uploaded that video! Great product!
subbed when i watched the major flaw video of the 2zz and that got me to sub and it was helpful
Controversial video but here I am about to hit 300k with a 1zz oil pan on my XRS lol 😂
No Fucken way! Lol 😂 you’ve been to my arcade?! Come say hi bro I’m here typically Sunday morning and before closing.
@@2zzlow fasho! I’ll take note of that!
Everything in your channel man. Pick and pull runs with Clay, Clay taking over your channel sometime (buying celicas), installing parts, celica meets and honda tech life.
Clay has a lot of videos to upload but he was in the middle of moving houses so hopefully he starts uploading to the channel soon!
Going from leather to suede seats. Also, did it myself🙏
A must. Can’t stand the leather that rips so easy!
I’m glad that people are still using that video! Took me a while to edit aswell lol 😂 thanks homie
First video I clicked on was the XRS trd quick shifter from the Scion tc
Pretty decent upgrade to the car. Not sure why Toyota never labeled it for the Corolla XRS
Subbed cause of celica related content!
Thanks fam
All the 2zz-ge content bro. 👍
You already know!
I’m a day late, but happy birthday 2zzlow 🤙🏼🤙🏼
thanks fam!
Haven’t read that name on this channel in a cool minute lol 😂 I see he still buying and selling celicas
Happy birthday! 🎁
thanks fam!
Celica celica celica ive watched you build your blue 7th gen and the v6. Only person ive watched that gives an in detail description on how to convert parts of the celica
