For anybody in 2024 wondering if this still works. Yes it does but there are some differences. First off once you rogue status is off you don't get the notification that you're trying to rejoin the server nothing pops up in the feed. The other thing I've noticed is sometimes it will not allow you to interact with the networks or boxes to go rogue they'll just be standard open items or the network boxes just will be turned off. I did this for about 2 hours yesterday and I only ran into one other age in the entire time. Got no exotics and no exotic components so maybe something was fixed with that and of course didn't get any dark winters haha
I am so grateful for stumbling across this video. I've always struggled with even just leveling in the DZ, but now,not only can I level, but I can farm like a boss, and truly learn up the lay of the land to be able to perform well in PvP down the road. Thank you so much for this information. I look forward to being a DZ boss in no time, with practice of course.

Oh, and I managed to bag an Eagle Bearer assault rifle in DZ East. A Black Tusk heavy dropped it in one of the extraction zones while I was waiting for an extraction. 😊
I dropped 2 Eagle Bearers in the first two days of the new season and lost both to rogue players. This is really good to know if it hasn't been "fixed". I don't have a group to run with so it's really lucky to get anything extracted.
Tried this, did roughly 10 runs across different DZ's. Not sure if I am right but it appears to me that the exotic drop rate is less than the normal DZ. I definitely got less exotics opening all boxes as compared to running the regular DZ. Maybe the Devs realized this option was available, not easily fixed so nurfed the drop rate of the level 30 DZ? Or I had really bad luck!

Can't believe I have only just found this out since owning the game from release 😂 I tried it out on ps5 and it works but I didn't have to keep going rogue only did it once and I didn't get the timer to put me back into an occupied DZ it just stayed empty not sure if it was just luck or what but I had the DZ to myself the whole time
Just watched this video helped a lot but I think I have found a way where you don’t have to keep going rouge. So I entered the west darkzone through the open gap not through the door. I then logged out which logged me straight out no timer came up when I went through the gap a tiny bit which you want to happen. I then went through the door then did the logout count down. Waited till 3 seconds then popped rouge but I did it next to a turret. It logged me out before dying. I then logged back in died. Then I went back into the darkzone through the door went away from the turrets then did the same thing but this time I stayed away from the turrets lol. Only issue I found with doing it this way where you don’t need to be rouge is 1 of the 2 supply drops is bugged out. :)
How does one “pop” Rogue? Yea, I’m a DZ noob. I noticed the game character “slappin’” his R Shoulder, which would instantly place him in Rogue Status. Is that a Tiered Boon from the DZ Liaison?

when is it worth it to go into DZ to do PVP? SHD level and expertise kind of ruined PvP for me as a Division 1 PVP vet. There's just so much of a time commitment that I just can't do because I'm not a kid anymore.
The best way to do this is get a on US west or Europe server and have him do this but you gone need a friend on one them servers. Doing this on US East server it’s just a matter of time b4 you run into someone.
Hey all! Has this been removed? I do exactly as the video says and I keep getting lobbies with teams. I know he mentioned that we could find people if someone else is doing the same strat but I get whole teams.
Can confirm this no longer works. After 2 hours of trying it has not once worked whatsoever. Did it the exact same way, so that's a bummer. I missed out on the fun. There's no way I'll ever get an Eagle Bearer now.

Capcitor & Ridgway pride by missions in summit (for capacitor) & lockboxes & completing floor 100 (Ridgway pride). Other than that you can get a lot of them from the general Anderson mission
I got the Bighorn, Eagle and Ravenous the HARD way. Yes, I am very proud of having them, but I don't use them. I am SHD 4320 something now and have builds, that melt everything without having to use these exotics.....
I still can't unlock DZ west. Nothing is happening when I get to the gate. I got east and south, tho. I used this strategy yesterday to farm DZ resources. I'm hoping that Rock n Roll is gonna be for sale
I think they fixed this. I tried it on PC and never saw the message at the bottom left corner when out of rogue status. Also the servers always seemed full. Oh well, back to stilling people's extracts. Tried to be a good agent, but it didn't pay off.
@SpaceForcePilot They didn't fix it. You can still do it, but the good thing is you don't have to stay rogue. Also, you may have to do it multiple times to make it work, but it has worked everything I have done it. I have received an eb yet, but with me being the only one in the dark zone, it's only a matter of time. Also, one way to know it worked is to go up to a landmark chest, and if you can open it without a key or going rogue, you will know for sure it worked.
@@marquesplayer778 tried it almost 50+ times on PC. This doesn't work anymore. I still can see rogues running around and player called for extraction and I need key to open DZ chest. Know a guy who pay monthly for cheat also told me this doesn't work anymore as he used to do that too and now he cheats his way in the DZ
@@theundeadbeholder284 after trying several times, it appears that once you do the log off as rogue, then log back in. I found myself in a totally empty zone, with no need to keep being rogue. I've now done several runs through the west and south zones each for about an hour with no interference from anybody except the AI characters. So it is working just not as it used to.
Does anyone know if this has been patched out? I’ve tried this but whenever I return after logging out, and the rogue status times goes down, it just says that I’ve returned to normal SHD status without the timer on the bottom left. I’m trying this in DZ South. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Maybe it's the update dz west this isn't working lol. Had to try none of the loot boxes say pick lock only loot and I got pulsed. Lol. But also all the hack terminals are just blank. Absolutely must be the update . Ifk for sure
@@SoulKingsss Yeah PvP is fun sometimes. But to hunt down a low level and low skill solo player who's just farming dz ressource for the shop with 4 guys just for fun isn't challenging. So a darkzone for pve or a Darkzone lobby for solo players only, where groups can not join would be nice for new players. Also the difference between someone shd level 100 and someone with shd level 4000, full optimized build with the expertise percentages on it is just to big. The low level has really no chance. So maybe it would be nice to include a darkzone option at level 40 without shd, expertise and all the other end game advantages.

They should allow you to see how many lobbies there are & how many ppl are in each lobby & allow ppl to manually phase to whichever lobby they wish

Every time I log out rouge and log back in I spawn in the open world. I’ve tried all three DZs but it never works on Xbox

This is an awesome method to farming the DZ. Never been big on the DZ, just used it as a filler.

This way you get rank 1 and will get some xp

If you can do countdown, start buying named cashes from the countdown vendor+focus shotgun drops, you can get it pretty fast that way

If you want shotgun Rock n Roll then play conflict. It drops as a bonus item from conflict caches very often.

No only the gear you pick up if you die and not retrieve it or not extracting it. All you walk in to the dz with you keep

Lots of people feel PvP is more fun than PvE.
They don't feel the competition as a "headache" lmao. Its PvP...that's the point mate.

The essence of the game is that the DZ is a lawless land! Want to farm, go to the PVE world!
