Dude, checked out loads of vids by other people and was left feeling more frustrated than before. Your video is so well presented and succinct and explained everything I needed to know as a super casual player of the game. Thanks ❤
honestly this is THE BEST guide to what recalibration and optimization is. SO MANY videos that say its a beginner guide wont tell WHAT recalibrate or optimize actually is. they just show HOW to recalibrate. THANK YOU
If I'm not mistaken, hostage rescue offer the highest amount of XP in the shortest amount of time, as well as offering bounties upon completion. Keep in mind that you don't have to run the bounty right away, you can select it on the map, abandon it and this will save it for later under the bounties tab.
Just got to the endgame a couple days ago and looking in to builds and what to do next, this is great guide for pushing me in the right direction but not just giving me a checklist of things to do!
The 3 things I think the game really needs is first, a shared open world, I love seeing other players in the world in a MMO, it makes the game feel more alive. Second, a better queuing system, we should be able to queue for more than one mission/activity at a time. Since the population of players is pretty small, you often can’t find a group so having more than one cue would help. Finally would be cross play so all the remaining players can play together
I agree, the only issue though I see with crossplay would potentially be in the DZ zones and Conflict cuz of controller vs mnk pvp. Unless I'm mistaken, console doesn't support MnK
@@iTzLagz1995 I rather be able to play most of the content with more community than caring about km players killing me the one time I go to the dz I don’t care .Let crossplay be
@21youngun42 I'm talking across any game that is a reaction based/fps title. PC has a unfair advantage over console and they shouldn't match together unless you have a PC player on your team.
Came back to Div2 after years and was completely baffled. This was a HUGE help. Worth the time investment. I was missing so many things, just grinding my watch and expertise. Now, I think I'm on the right track for truly leveling up.
Exactly what I was looking for. Just reached endgame and I was so confused with the amount of changes and where to start and this video just explained everything. Well done. Thank you…much appreciated
Great video dude. I’m coming back to D2 after about 4 years. Maxed my character back when it just went to 30. Wow. So much has changed. It’s like l’ve never played before. Your vid was super helpful, although my heads swimming with info now. The calibration library is very helpful, back in the day it was pray to the RNG gods. Keep up the good work buddy. 🤙
24:01 use the top two, there are max out. Meaning you are not able to collect more. Use what is close to being maxed. Of course the printer is less costly but you get more armor and guns then just mods when dismantling everything.
Dude thank you. I have STRUGGLED with understanding the crafting and attributes aspect of it. Video after video after reddit page I still couldn't figure it out. Your explanation was the best to helping me understand it. Thanks man.
Thank you so much for making this video! Returning from launch, I found myself confused on the endgame progression. Your video cleared up every question I had!
Nice video for the new players, and i would absolutely recommend getting WONY especially for pvp as most are shd levels so it would help you out alot, plus it's a fun expansion too play.
Just started a new character on hardcore mode yall wish me luck I haven’t played for idk how long now but it’ll make me pay more attention and be smarter with how I play :)
I appreciate this thabks. What i will say is i think they need to nerf the grind a bit and make it more easier to understand in the division 3. Thats the only way to keep the player base up.
Best beginners in game guide, by miles. This is helped me and my group loads. Had a question that didn't get answered on this video. After finishing New York, it feels like a whole bunch of story just went missing. Is there a way to figure out what happened? Is it because of seasons? I'm not sure how those work or if I need to get them or if I can buy past seasons where is there something else that we are missing? We don't usually follow story lines but this was streamlined pretty well in this game but now everything is way past where we were. Lau is dead? Kelso is missing? What the hell happened
Great question!! And something I have thought about recently and wish I included in this. If you go to your map and toggle to manhunt you will see this seasons manhunt. At the bottom of the screen there will be an option for "Legacy Manhunts". Here will be all the manhunts that you have missed since the end of the expansion. You cannot replay the entirity if each manhunt but you will be able to play the final manhunt missions and get a recap along with some rewards that you missed.
Hey GCRock, awesome guide. This will help me a lot. Just a noob question though, I am interested in capturing hunter masks, when is the right time to take those pesky hunters down?
I would wait until you are in endgame and have put together an okay DPS build. You can make them easier by having the open world set to normal but before endgane with no build, they will be difficult.
Hey, where can I find your group you were talking about at the end of the video? I loved it very much as it has helped me get back into the game and not be intimidated by how much there is to do.
your explanation helped me understand recalibration, optimization and crafting station, i am lost what to do and what not to do after getting my SHD watch, this video actually gave me the proper idea on how to continue and what to do now, thanks
Just got to level 30 on my watch. I have not received a single field proficiency cache. Have they updated it so you don't get one anymore ? I was getting them when I was level 30 before going to NYC to complete to level 40
GCROCK what is your opinion on doing legendary content solo? Because now i have accomplished in getting most exotics and horded decent yellow gear but now at a point of making a build to do legendary content alone as a test of my reflexes and focus. I prefer not being a one trick pony kind, but in need of advice.
Like with anything, practice will make perfect but solo legendary along with going for world record speed runs is probably the most difficult content in the game. From what I have seen, solo legendary is not going to be as easy as is was on The Division 1 where you could just use a skill build and figure out the right spots. You are probably going to want multiple builds for multiple situations and then practice, practice and practice. It will make things easier by using guides online to see how others do it, and going at it blind by yourself would increase the difficulty greatly. I have not done solo Legendary so this is all I have for you really, and what puts me off is just the time it would take to master that when I have other priorities I have to focus on. Who knows maybe one day. If you have the time I would say go for it and good luck! I would recommend starting with DUA which is by far the easiest and shouldn't take too much time.
You make it sound like, oh no big deal, just turn on challenging. Aren't most people going to get absolutely shredded by this if they just "jump into it".
Not at this stage of the game no. Just put a build together and challenging is very easy for most people. Maybe back when the game launched before the power creep but we are quite powerful now with some very easy builds to put together.
Not max no, you can use the optimization station to max all your roles. What you want to do is get the right attributes and talents that you want. You can one change you can make so bare this in mind and then once you have all the attributes and talent you want you can max out everything.
im so confused , put 200 hours into the game at the release , got the world tier 5 , there was nothing else to do so stopped playing , iv come back today and i have not a clue what to do next , wtf do i do ?
Im currently lvl 400 shd lvl and i power leveled two extra characters to lvl 30. Should i refrain from spending my scavenging points on my main? Should i level up my accounts from 30 to 40 or do i need to wait to hit shd 1000 for this to work?
There is no harm in spending them if you need them. Also no harm in levelling your other characters to 40 now as every level you gain will go across all. For full benefit of a watch mule character I would just focus on getting your watch as high as you can. 2000+ is a good amount. 1500 is okay but the higher the better
Thanks for the video. I now know I can delete this game from my PS5. That grind is just insane. 😵💫 My watch is only 11 and you need 1000??! Forget that. Game isn't that interesting tbh. I can see why it failed so miserably. Games need to respect players time. This one craps all over it. 😅
Istg he casually talks about lv1000 like it was a week or two of work im level 15 dont feel like ive gotten anywhere i like the first division for a reason because it wasnt a giant mind fuck to do anything
@@grundged Thats why you have to do research. This game is widely known for its grind. Thats literally the entire game. Its just get good gear to get better gear and become op. It didn’t fail at all. Kinda worrying that it feels like the end game basically hasn't changed since I stopped playing like 3 years ago or more. I'm really intrigued to return given the overhauls being done lately, plus burnout on Destiny 2, just feels like it might feel the same as before which is why I left. Just grinding Summit and Raids, getting annihalated in PVP as the game is so old now that most have insanely OP/optimized weapons brimming with crit chance and damage so you just melt to death. Buddy and I hopped back on after not playing for years. $8 warlord expansion and these videos will carry us. Thanks boss

Just got back into it myself but it's £25, (so like $30+ dollars) for the NY dlc after all this time 🤦♂️

I use the bounties for the targeted loot.
Heroic bounties have 3 named enemies, more directives the higher chance for the targeted loot to drop.

Perfect a certain control point and just reset it everytime. Waiting for certain events is inefficient
public executions (if you can find them quickly) are the bestbat xp gains

Videos like this will bring along the next wave of agents. Nice
i haven’t played in a while since i got the 5 might redownload
