Some really talented people. No or little safety gear or even eye glasses. Amazing.
Here, we can appreciate the high levels of security. The worker wears the Super Sandals with Steel toe guard. Goggles. Gloves. Helmet and mask against industrial oven. The 3M-950 filters for breathing gases and incandescent dust. Fire retardant clothing... etc. Yup. Cuz all this, it is no longer possible to continue working like in the 19th century, right? (I'm using the SARCASM, Ok?).
I particularly liked the guys cloths blowing in the wind next to the open drive wheels of the rolling mill

you see some real hazards in process videos but the owner of this place wins first fukn prize for most likely to cause industrial accident & injury. keeping that accident day counter ot zero permanently. not only do we have exposed toes and respiratory systems, we have giant hunks of hit metal flying directly at your face. and repetitive stress? i swear wheelbarrow dude popped a disc right in front of the camera. the owner's descendants will go on to design & manufacture catwalks for the death star

They are smart for using old rail road track. It’s already hardened to a point. I bought some disc harrows that originate from Italy of all places. They are no where near this good of quality. They are flap disc polishing these to help prevent the dirt from having pockets to grab. I’m impressed they are powder coated, the ones i bought were painted and it rubbed off in minutes.
I wondered what the raw material was. But can you really snap a piece of rail like that?
I should have looked it up before I asked. Yep you sure can break it!

Seems the grinding was done for the camera, sure didn't see much sign of grinding. Other than that the process seemed well done. I like best no one was trying to straighten anything with a sledgehammer.
