the man behind the camera told for jebena merchants don't give her the discount ,don't take him again with you to any place he doesn't seems good.take care lady
@9:30 The lady was telling him to stop recording the design cloth's since it's her Job (She only want to sell it). She had no camera rule. Since these cloths(design) are hand made, they are usually worried you'll just take a pic and order it somewhere else for cheap price (as many ppl do). And he was telling her that it's good for her marketing but in reality she's right b/c if you have very nice design ppl will just take pic and order it somewhere else and you don't get paid for your design effort.
Ethiopia is good on you Grace, you are glowing. Those are beautiful piece, i love them all. Well done
Thank you, I love it here. Yes, the fashion and crafts pieces are beautiful
lol, you’re an expert haggler 💰 Miss Grace, it’s the African way of a proper discount 😂, you’re better than most locals 👏🏽
Loving your int’l collabos, awesome fellow travel vloggers.
😄😄 thank you
I like what you do GRACE and you are very humble person.and I'm very thank you for sharing Africa culture.
Thank you
Grace Grace ... you carry our bargaining blood go Ethiopia.. weldone
🤣 na one Africa we be na
The cloaks ('kabba' in the local tongue) are actually very ancient traditional clothes which used to signify a noble birth or royalty. Now a days, nearly everyone wears them for certain occasions such as weddings, anniversaries or even holidays.
Interesting! each time I see them they evoke the image and stories of Haile Selassie to me
@@africanstoryteller Exactly, Haileselassie had several pictures wearing this cloaks. But the tradition stretches back thousands of years.
But it is for special occasions only need to be wear! Like with cultural wedding gown !
Happy Ethiopian Easter!! You are awesome!
Go all over Africa and there is one term that unite us all and that is “Last price” heart melting “you want baba”
Yes oh 'last price' 😄
Great to see shopping, your bargaining skills is on point, after all its African way of doing biz. So sad to see you last vlog. It is nice to a part of your exploration of my home country. U r a bundle of joy. Thanks for coming to ethiopia. Btw get rid of the camera guy. He was acting stupid.
Thank you, I appreciate you. The lady from Iran was actually the one who came with him, not me but I asked for his assistance
You are so sweet we love you 🤗❤️💖💖
Awwww, thank you🤗. Love you too 💞
You're still chilling in Ethiopia! Wow!
Yes oh🤗😄
@@africanstoryteller You will soon be speaking Amharic fluently at this rate ! 😂😁
lol .. . I heard some of the owners asking why you're recording. I am sure you convinced them you're advertising what they're selling. You're very good at negotiating the prices . . . besides I don't think nobody wants to over charge you if they know they're on camera. Better yet, you can ask for discount because you're promoting their shop.
thank you
I will finish all my money here. The things are so beautiful
Seriously! you would everything is beautiful in this market
Really enjoyed this vlog. They have beautiful dresses and unique designs.
Thank you, I'm glad you did🤗
Grace ily soooo much!! Ur just such a joy to watch ❤
Thank you, love you ❤️
you are always positive.thank you as ethiopian!
Thank you ❤️
They are saying you can’t take a picture of the dresses design. People usually take a picture of the design they want and have it made at different place with a cheap price. So they are trying to protect their intellectual property.
You are such a fashionista Virtue ❤❤❤❤❤
😄 thank you
