Those items look like they are made from really good quality. When foreigners come to Ethiopia and other African countries, we need to make sure to support local vendors!
Queenie Sis I was there 10 years ago,you're at my most favorite spot to shop traditional Ethiopian clothes and Jewelry, as an African you know how to bargain unlike the ferenji’s 😁 Thank you
Thank you dear. Shiro Meda looks more organized since I saw it last time. It's good to see u accompanied this time by a bro, who doesn't say much though.
Could you to go an Ethiopian Church early in the Sunday morning and post your experience. It’s an ancient church and I want your opinion. If you need coordinating help let me know.
Should I go with you to bargain shop🤔🤭🤭🤭🤭😫😆😆😆 Very nice vlog, thanks for bringing us along. What's the name of the market and where is it located in Addis. Is it for locals or tourists?
Your experience seems rather true! When a local knows you're not from their country... 9/10 you will be overcharged!! When I went to Nigeria, the shop workers tried overcharging me.. but I was happy to have had Two Nigerian speaking people from Nigeria there with me(my friend)!! So they were able to get the appropriate/more accurate price for me! I'm traveling to Ethiopia this summer!! (Lord willing) that is, And it looks like I'll have to bring my Ethiopian friend Hirut with me shopping! Not only because I don't want to be overcharged, but just so that she can show me the best places around! 😃😊
I'm travelling back home to Bahir Dar slightly earlier than previously planned but I'll be back in Addis in two weeks. I'll definitely contact you to arrange something it will be wonderful to meet you.
Desta do you know the difference between china made by machine and Ethiopians made by hand you have to know the difference Chinese one is very cheap bring your Ethiopians friend when you do shopping

@@ABunCalledBlue you're welcome big boss... Keep making us proud by giving the best hospitalities to our sisters and brothers 🙏🏾!
Shiro Meda market has really grown
They have nice designs. Are Ethiopian entrepreneurs pushing fashion as an industry? In West Africa, people are pushing fashion hard.
The saleswoman is not customer friendly
That is the problem with our traders...
What do you expect when a foreigner is trying to bargain for a cheap price? She should respect their prices or leave them alone.

do you want same food
I= NO
do you want to sleep
I = NO
in Amharic I = NO always but Iydelem is give the some meaning to I( NO ) in most of our conversation in some it doesn't mean no for example Do you want to go with us if you say Iydelem it doesnt mean NO in this case but if you use like this people may understand you if you are in a shop and somebody says to you do you want this dress do you want that ... if you say Iydelem the meaning is equal to No
