Very good advices. I may add that if you're invited to eat/consume things you don't want/like politely say no. For instance raw meat, coffee, etc.. are all over the place there. When raw meat is offered as a meal ask for it to be cooked, well done. They'll take it back and cook it the way you want it. Coffee ceremony is a social gathering, have tea and take part of the conversation. If you're offered something you don't know or like simply say no and ask for something else.

Ethiopia has never been colonized so most of us speak only our native language it does not matter if it is the 21 century.

The beauty and confidence that you radiate after your travels did not make me concentrate on what you were saying at first but i had to revert back to the beginning to start again because i didn’t listen to what you were saying and it looks like you have found the pathways of your podcast and i pray that God always be with you and protect you in all your journeys. Amen.

This is what amazes me how we know people who is not Ethiopian and me personally i rarely get it wrong and it's not just the face or color it just I don't know how we know but we just do honestly even watching tv like international news i can spot
Ethiopians before knowing there names before they speak i just know and even Ethiopians who is in USA they say they can spot each out by just looking they even identify you even you stand with a group of people who look like you( like Africa Americans for example ) and i remember someone saying who lives in USA other people also identify Ethiopians distinct from afro Americans just by looking
but the people that is hard to identify is the Easterners (i call the them )like Eritrea,Sudan,Djibouti .......etc
But nice you brought this subject👍 it always amazes me

Another wonderful video from Virtue Grace! Something to know, have been in few african countries, Bole Airport is probably the closest airport to the city center I know, 5 min of drive and you are in Bole Center already. You can even go at the airport by feet if you stay in Bole around Edna Mall, very convenient

    • @africanstoryteller

If it west African, most of the time we know Nigeria. And also Ethiopia and Nigeria is known for their population. The second and the first. You know that most of the time you know Ethiopians like you said by their skin color or their being a kind of slimmer. And also most west Africans are more heavier than East Africans, right? Yea.
We all human beings do the same thing any human being do.
What I like about you the most is you accept all human beings as human like if I do this, they may do this because we r all the same human.

Most Horn African countries have the same facial features. That is probably why we are able to tell the difference between a west African and an East African.
