    i just started on a bowl like this and the paper trick to align them is EXCELLENT i wish i had thought of it

    Looks great from my house Steve. I have never used CA glue for gluing segments together but it sure seemed to work fine.

    Amazing! maybe for the segments use Ebony? It's very hard but it's solid and it won't chip out much. Just a thought. Great work!

    I like the idea but will use Titebond on the spacers turned so the end grain is pointing in the gaps.

    nice bowl, my only concern is using ca, it can be a bit brittle but hey if it works it works, nice job.

    I like it . Turn the wanga in the opposite direction so your cutting with grain . By the way what was the brand name of that 5/8 gouge , i'm looking for one .
