Bamboo Airways 787-9 business class Hanoi to Melbourne Airline reviews @ewanwilson2315 Ewan Wilson Affordable business-class travel B787-9 Great new airline
Let hope Bamboo Airways is still operating by December 2023 so I can completed my trip SYD to SGN . You must have caught one of the last Bamboo flight to MEL as they have cancelled MEL to HAN as from November 2023.Thank you for sharing.
Gosh I hope so too. I knew they were rejigging their fleet and hadn't heard that Melbourne was being dropped. Thanks for that information. I guess it is chalenging times for them as they try and navigate right sizing. Please let me know how your return flight goes. I'd love to hear
@@ewanwilson2315 as from 4/11/23 all flight from SYD & MEL to SGN onto FRA have been cancelled. So far no refund has been promised . This lousy airline was started up not to make profit but to attract foreign investors to the volatile property market in Vietnam as its founder Mr Trinh Van Quyet has been arrested for insider trading
@@ewanwilson2315 we are waiting news from their head office as their Melbourne agent has pull down shutter to their office & remain silent . We have booked with Singapore Air ( our preferred Carrier) and have travel insurance to cover our fares
It's a fact of life in the airline business that offering tip top service does not mean a carrier will survive. What of those 787s ? Well at least a couple of them have been acquired by Austrian Airlines who will be entering them in service soon. Newer aircraft are needed as, currently, Austrian has the oldest long-haul fleet of any European national airline.
Hi Alex, I couldn’t agree more on both points. I do hope that Bamboo Airways can survive as a smaller airline with a network in Asia only . I think Austrian will do well with some new aircraft as the inflight servicesis good.
Great reviews Ewan. You should give Bonza airlines a review in Australia. Part of their startup and operation reminds me of kiwi air in your books
I think that is a great idea.I've added it to my list. I might try them in January. Thanks for the feedback!
LOVING these videos Ewan! Well done mate!
Glad you like them!
great video, cheers
Thanks had lots of fun making it.
Direct flights to Hamilton NZL would be great!
Great idea Andrew. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that something happens soon.
Also critical- you don’t show us the socks! Were they bright?!😅
Sp sorry, forgot to show them. Unfortunately they were plain old back socks, still very nice and comfy, but nothing like Air New Zealand.

Looks like such a great business class option! Would be curious to know more about pricing- are the competitive in the market?
Yes they are! I new video will be out soon explaining how I got a great deal. It's all about knowing the best frequent flyer programme in the world.
