I have an '07 V8 with 233k miles on it and it's awesome! I only had to replace the alternator. Other than that it's just been regular maintenance items.

186k and still going on my 03 sport trac xlt. It has NOT had an easy life. Rattles on startup. Missing a quarter panel. Not a straight peice of metal on her. She gets back to the dirtbikes trails that jeep owner would never dare attempt. Love my truck dearly.

The door shouldn’t have to be rehung if it was built properly in the first place. I was a used car appraiser for 18 years and what I learned from many years seeing vehicles that were over 110K miles is that the F150 was built much better than the Explorer Sport Track. After spending 20 years in the car business, appraising over 75,000 vehicles, and operating a dealership, I may have picked up a few nuggets of knowledge. I have noticed over the years is there is a quality difference of fit and finish between Ford product and Toyota product. each product has its pros and cons, I have just found more faults with Fords. Thanks for watching and your comments. Cheers.

Yes, you are right; I am complaining a lot because after driving Toyota Tacoma‘s, and Tundra‘s for 20 years, you find a lot of flaws with the Ford. Thanks for watching and your comments. Please be sure to subscribe to the latest content. 😎

@@realcarreviews6021 awesome review. My parents are thinking of getting a 2010 Ford sport trak of which they are replacing since it got into an accident. I told them they should think about getting a Toyota Tacoma, but with the prices on the used market on Taco’s are ridiculous! Funny thing is my parents have a 03’ Solara and a 22’ RAV4 with very low miles and yet they are gonna get a ford. Oh my, I hope the 2010 sport trac they think of getting will be a smart purchase. For me, I don’t think it’s a great decision. For me, I have a 97’ 4Runner with 285k miles and still going strong, along with my Lexus GX470 with 156k miles and my 06’ Highlander with 104k miles going strong. My crappy 07’ Ford free star trans died at 140k miles and my parents 04’ Ford Sport trac was falling apart at only 131k miles. I figure they would learn from their previous Ford sport trac.😅. Anyway, keep up the good work!

@@christopherdeguzman1137 this was an extremely rare find for a Ford sport Trac. Most every single Ford sport track I’ve ever seen was not in the condition that this one was in. The previous owner had over 100 service records done to it, so basically the vehicle had every part replaced on it. I agree that a Toyota Tacoma is a much better vehicle and Toyota’s in general than the Ford product. Thanks for watching and your comments, please be sure to subscribe for the latest content.

@@realcarreviews6021It also doesn’t help when you’re carelessly banging & slamming on it either. It’s a near 20 year vehicle, lots of stuff you’re complaining about like the doors not shutting correctly can all be easily fixed since it just comes out of adjustment because of age & excessive use. All trucks were like that for decades upon decades without being damped or assisted, that didn’t become a thing until not that long ago. The only thing I agree with is the cruise control buttons. Besides that, most Ford vehicles often hold up extremely well inside & out despite what you say, fit & finish in them is often excellent. Definitely better than the trash from competitors like GM & Chrysler when all their vehicles just fall apart. Lots of pointless Ford bashing! None of these issues are Ford specific either, these can apply to any vehicle including your Tacoma’s & Tundra’s that you say you’ve been driving for 20 years.
