Improved to 300 hp, bigger air intake/cold air intake to airfilter. Misses on Ranger is no full door on back. Locking cover for bed. Floor has carpet while Sport Trac is rubber washable. Rear back window is bigger. FST drives more like a Continental. Lights can be changed out to LED. FST can do standard 4 wheel drive. Not designed to do crazy comercial off road, normal off road. Jacking the FST was not even in the thoughts of Engineers. Fixind my running every driver FST, 120,000 miles to brand new, $5-10,000 vs new 40,000 for Ranger. Sure modern newer, way better gas milage. $30,000 better?
I also have a 99.Ranger with a 351 cleaveland roush performance package😂
Sport trac rides better, handles better on bumpy roads, more comfortable, much smoother and quieter engines, and more reliable by a moonshot. MPG and max power better on ranger.
The ranger is sooooo long in the tooth. I've been looking at same truck in international automotive magazines and shows for at a decade in this generation.
Things the Sport Trac has that the Ranger doesn't; vents for rear seat passengers, struts to hold the hood open, lockable tonneau cover most importantly a V 8 available!!! Looks like Ford just stopped trying!!!
Thinking about upgrading? I am but there isn't a new sport trac, so fml I guess.
That's right off of 30th right lol
Ur comparing a 2020 v a 2007
thats wut the title says
I think it’s a good comparison myself. But I see your point based on years and technology. I presently own a 2007 w v8 love it. I had at one time a 2002 v6 and was disappointed
It's even more of a stretch when the 2007 is based on 2002 tech. Granted the Ranger tech is dated too but the argument was "more truck like" when if someone wants that, it's a small jump to an F150.
@@jean-claudemorin7377Yes. Would be a better comparison to an Adrenalin. 💪
Much more tricky lmfao
