I’ve been incredibly blessed to have a team in both the US and China. You’re right it all falls down to vision. People see you’re passionate about what you do and they want to help. Awesome video, really powerfully for everyone
I've been trying to put together a team though it's really been a hustle but thanks to your videos, very insightful and helping me go about it in a much better way. Keep dropping these gems
I think the biggest problem I’ve had developing a team is that the people I usually run into strictly are about the self, not to mention trust issues from previous bad business ventures.
Just put yourself out there, make good music market yourself the best way possible and build relationships with other producers artists etc. and the right people will fall into place just trust the process
I have a question. Would you say that the best way to build a team is to first have people around you that you trust? Then when you get that opportunity you designate roles(which often times can be paid) and everyone can focus on the bigger picture and build and grow?
I don’t know if it’s so much about the people you trust, as it is asking the question, do those people have the types of skills that he’s referencing. If they have the skills, then totally stick with them. But if they don’t, when you get the funds I would prioritize getting someone that can coach you through marketing first. You can make your way creating graphics on Canva (using templates) and filming on an iPhone. Someone in marketing will be able to advise you on creating an actual strategy and how to grow your business. In my mind, that should be the priority.
@@zekayjay14 I agree with that forreal. It’s definitely a marathon not a sprint! I appreciate you responding too, if you have time I’d appreciate feedback on my latest single on my channel if/when you have the time. It’s called “Wont say”
in the network I responded to that comment about 1man teams. listen, I'm one of those atm lol but in contrast to a real team, from a business perspective you're slow, inconsistent, & unreliable, pretty much no matter how good you are.
