First of all, I’ve read a few of the comments before adding this one. This sailing community and those of us planning to join in is fantastic ! The support shown, myself included, is unwavering !! Love that about the sailors. I’m so glad to see that you have recovered from your surgery and that Molly is doing good too. I lost my Godmother 30ish years ago to breast cancer and thankfully this cancer is now survivable. On the ‘other hand,’ Bill, come on dude, you have a new Highfield, and you couldn’t find anything better to do than speed through miles of mangrove that are so thick and low, it’s like driving blindfolded through a foggy night in London ? Maybe a little exaggerated, but at that speed, there was no way to know what kinds of sharp branches were sticking out from the water, or anywhere. Just saying, not the best thing to do with a brand new looking dinghy, or it’s crew, and equipment.
Grace and Bill, thanks for continuing to bring us along on your journey. Thank Molly for allowing you to share her health challenge. Exactly my reactions to seeing them speed through a barely passable obstacle course of countless branches that could have been sharp enough to seriously damage something or someone. Like there wasn’t anything else interesting to do around that coastal area. I’m sure if Bill would have tried that with Grace in the dinghy, SHE would have ‘taken his head off.’ 😅
