Over a decade ago, I watched Zach King's video editing tutorials everyday when he had Final Cut King. Then, one day, I was at the University bookstore waiting in line to checkout. Then, Zach King's very first major national spot played on the main TV. I flipped out! Students looked at me like I was crazy. 😜 I was ecstatic! It was surreal to see someone whom I followed on Day 1 climb to such great heights. I remember when he taught the selective color effect making everything black and white except for yellow. I think Zach's sister helped him with that and most other tutorials. It was awesome to see his sister help him. She had his back the whole time. I remembered when he participated in Film Festivals and explained how he achieved his effects. Gosh, the memories, the memories. I'm old! 😅

Zac, you are so inspiring...I've been 3 weeks and I'm trying to share my journey of paying off $124k of debt in just 16 months back in 2020 and I have remained focused towards retirement goal and increased rental property my lifestyle financially and became a minimalist... 71 subscribers and 52 video..mostly shorts, but I really just can't figure this thing out because I want to share that journey to hope others could use to help them

I like seeing that 80% of his money comes frome commercials advertising with brands. I hope all the creators creating content for brands in exchange for "brand merch" lets this sink in. Money has ALWAYS been with commercial advertising and photographers, videographers charge accordingly. (Merch is not payment)

The honey 🍯 of videos and UA-cam.
I will never understand UA-cam. Zach's videos are cute enough, but they grow old super fast. And they serve no real purpose other than to have people be like, "oh, that's cool."
It's just kind of crazy he hasn't progressed much beyond the really short, "oh, that's cool" stage..yet somehow has made millions from it. Very perplexing.

I am an old man of color. All I could think was when you see the company brainstorming meetings. It’s mostly white guys. This reminded me of a pharmaceutical company that I worked for. They only had white guys at the execution stage. When meetings were held. No one thought this was odd. We live in a country that wants to strip people of access based on race and color yet this guy clearly doesn’t see the need to bring in people of color. This makes his company not worth the price he brags about. Young people haven’t learned a damn thing from the last 30 years in these United States of America. It’s a shame!!!
