You’re a awesome Anesthesiologist, you inspire me so much! I really really tried to go to college to be a Anesthesiologist after I graduated high school in 2008, it was gonna be too hard because of my cerebral palsy I’m 31! I love your videos!! You’re awesome! I love your Tesla! I want a Tesla, Full self driving can help me drive with my cerebral palsy
Interesting you always have the miller for DL. Most of the ET intubations in the hospital I’ve seen is with a glide scope I’m a medic that became an ICU nurse now getting ready to apply to CRNA. Keep up the work
I used to do that as a night shift ICU nurse. Now I usually just crash for a few hours after a call shift and then get up because I'll need to sleep that night.

I only use a video laryngoscope if it's a true difficult airway. 95% of the time I use a Miller 2.
I don't know how you have energy to make videos after a 12 hour shift that's amazing
Nice call room! Got everything you need to get rest and freshen up when you need to.
You got that right!
How did you become the difficult Iv person? How did you learn to get good at them? What are some techniques ?
Great questions. I’ll have to do a vid to answer all that. There seems to be a lot of interest.
@@BoltCRNA i’m assuming ultrasound guided??
your dog is so cute!!
whats the average salary and are your days off flexible
I've never heard of calling anesthesia for difficult IVs...
I never did as an RN either. Found out real quick as an anesthesia provider many others do.
Did you have to use an ultra sound to get the difficult iv?
I didn’t this time but many times I do use ultrasound and longer IV catheters.
Do you take melatonin to help you sleep after work?
I used to do that as a night shift ICU nurse. Now I usually just crash for a few hours after a call shift and then get up because I'll need to sleep that night.
Are there night shift CRNAs? Do you have difficulty to "leave work" at work?
No such thing as being “night shift” but if you enjoy working on call and overnight plenty of people will offload their share onto you.
Are u in Southern California?
No, the Bay Area.
Is it common for nurse anesthesiologist to work on call? Is it difficult to pursue a career with a company that does not require call?
It is common to be on call. If not being on call is important to you it's possible to find positions that don't require it.
are you ever involved in resuscitations or mainly emergent procedures
Yes, we respond to code blues and emergencies.
What Telsa model do you have?
Model S 70D
Finally! xD haha
