- Hey everyone! In this video we finish off our Herefordshire adventure with a beautiful trip exploring the Wye Valley! We visit a number of the must see locations in the northern part of this gorgeous valley from Ross on Wye to Goodrich Castle, and Symonds Yat to Monmouth!
The Wye Valley is a stunning river valley running from Herefordshire all the way down the English/Welsh border to Chepstow and the Bristol Channel! There are so many amazing locations to see here and we only had one day so were pretty limited in what we could do but we tried to pack in as much as possible!
We had a great time in Herefordshire and it is definitely a beautiful county that is often overlooked but is worthy of a visit! Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for supporting our channel! :)

Really enjoyed your trip Kitti and Jon. I'm Herefordshire born and bread and love the place you started from. A nice insight into the town and Wye there. I think you captured the area well with the time you had. I've walked every river of the Wye from source but have yet to go up Coppet Hill. Gonna do that this year. All the best to you both. Mark

Lived in the area for 5 years in the 80s and never visited Goodrich Castle! That was a rather strange omission in hindsight -- looks awesome. One thing though - the farmer whose land borders the river below the Yat rock must be one of the most unfriendly, unpleasant individuals I ever met! Sure, he must get a bit fed up with canoeists asking if they can access the river from his property, but there are ways to deal with that that don't involve deadly threats. Just a warning to anyone fancying a little jaunt on the river - use the public ramps :) (And yes, we sought his permission before trying it).

No there isn't an entry fee for the trail 😊 you just have to pay for the car park.
