Can please somebody answer this. All the videos about japanese conjugation telling that for conjugation the pronouns dont matter. I sleep u sleep they sleep.... they are all conjugated the same. Why then when i type those into google translate it spits out something comepleeeeetely diferent?? Please help
Google translated it correct. It just implied when speaking so most people imply the subject in Japanese . That why they're different also Google uses really only formal/ sort of unnatural speaking patterns. Might want to so look at other translating apps just to check.

Both 切る (to cut) and 太る (to become fat) are "godan" verbs. These correspond to the first group introduced in the video. They are called "godan" verbs because the final kana can be morphed in 5 (go) ways: 切ら、切り、切る、切れ、切ろ. Which change is made depends upon which auxiliary verbs/adjectives are appended. For instance, the ます auxiliary verb (and yes it is a verb) is appended to the い stem, forming 切ります. Group 2 as introduced in the video are called "ichidan" verbs, because there is only one stem to append auxiliary verbs and adjectives to, and it is formed by chopping off the る kana. All ichidan verbs end in "iru" or "eru", however not all verbs that end in this way are ichidan verbs. An interesting example of this are the verbs 要る (to be needed) and 居る (to be). Both are pronounced "iru", however the first is a godan verb while the second is an ichidan verb. Imasu group1
Emasu. Group2
Is wrong information out there.
It's been a year almost, do you get the answer already for the question I am now wondering?
how about おきます, should be an exemption from group 1?
very helpful
helpful video ます form more easy to learn
Masu is the non-past form, which means present and future. You can specify future by adding words like: tommorow, next week
How about the verb ある/あります? “Aru”
Class 1
But what happen with KANJIRU? Is a class 2 verb (-ru), but in the present tense become a class 1 verb? I am confused
Will determining the verb class help us with the -te form and -nai form?
what about かります=かりて? (group 2)
Sensei, what about the verb "wakaru" (to understand). From what i've seen the formal version is "wakarimasu instead of "wakamasu"
I’d imagine that it’s possibly the same difference as saying “salutations” and “greetings” to someone, but don’t hold me to it lol
It is a Class 1 verb since it does not end in iru or eru, but aru. The final vowel (u) is replaced by imasu, like usual for class 1. Instead of replacing the whole kana (ru) you only replace the u and the r remains, changing it to wakarimasu like you said :)

Let’s retrace the steps back…
かえるmasu form is かえります
To change かえります to plain form/dictionary form, you need to cancel the ります, and then replaced it with the 3rd column of your hiragana chart which ら-row is shown below
1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣5️⃣
ら り る れ ろ
So the 3rd column of the ら-row is る, which is coincidental to the group 2 るverb.
Hope this answer your question.

I still don't get the Asobimasu one ...:c
It is class 1. It is not shimasu or kimase (not class 3). Its base form does not end in i-ru or e-ru (not class 2). So you're left with class 1.
Also, -masu is preceded by a syllable with "i" vowel sound.
