Hello, this is Algae.
In Korea, white pine is often mistaken for a pine tree that produces edible pine nuts.
Because they are called '스트로브잣나무'.
'스트로브' is a phonetic translation of their species name (strobus), and '잣나무' means a tree that produces edible pine nuts.
I don't know why they are called misleading names in Korea.
Are the seeds of white pine edible?
I don't know exactly.
If you know the truth clearly, please share.

I store the seeds in the refrigerator for 1-2 months before sowing them.
The same goes for white pine.
However, those that are sufficiently exposed to winter cold outdoors may be sown without being stored in the refrigerator.
