Released on the 19th of May, 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world, third-person perspective videogame in which players control Geralt of Rivia. The game is based on The Witcher series of fantasy novels written by Polish Author, Andrzej Sapkowski. The main story follows Geralt searching for his missing adopted daughter, named Ciri. She is fleeing from an otherworldly force who are determined to find her and use her powers for themselves. During the game, players will interact with a variety of fleshed out characters, using a variety of tactics to complete side quests, developing their skills as they acquire more experience points. The gear Geralt uses can also be changed by players purchasing new items and using in-game materials to forge from scratch. The main plot has multiple endings, all of which are determined by the player's choices at various points throughout the videogame. The Witcher 3 is available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Microsoft Windows.

“As the old saying goes..”
Ad: BATTLE BREAKERS!!!
Such powerful words
Still after all my hours in the Witcher 3 that huge tongue disturbs me deeply
Ragnar Lothbrok _ and
Zxdewa got
Me too brother.
Especialy during that quest in the tower where a wraith kisses that dude... I still have nightmares
Tenko van der Kuip Yep
Love that real life version. Lay down and wait for her to pass. Basically saying simply lay down and rest.
I've suffered heat stroke and can tell you it is not fun at all. I drank four liters of water within twenty minutes and then slept uninterrupted for over twenty hours. The worst head ache you could possibly imagine and intense pain in the neck and shoulders. It feels like you're dying.
The neck and head pain is probably from electrolyte imbalance. Consider using an oral rehydration solution. I forget the exact ratio but it's a specific amount of sugar and salt mixed into a liter of water. This is also used to rehydrate ppl with dysentery which kills millions every year.
I prefer night raves to noon raves
Not much of a rave if it happens at noon eh?

Honestly the idea of noon wraiths is pretty horrifying. Them and their “real” counterparts. The thing you mentioned about seeing her before she sees you and lying down very still. The idea of waiting for her to pass and hoping she doesn’t find you gives me severe anxiety lol excellent video. You do a great job explaining the lore.
When I was in primary school, watching something scary will give me paranoia; and when a friend told me that some ghosts can appear a day as well, needless to say I couldn't do anyything peacefully
I loved the combat in Wither 3 so much that I always excitedly chased down whatever monsters I saw. All except for the Wraiths that is. Whenever I encountered wraiths I’d immediately start to panic, slap on specter oil, equip my crappy base level Yerden and a crap-ton of food and water. I would then proceed to flail about like a lunatic while yelling at both Geralt and the wraith for not staying in the stupid circle... God I love this game lol ;)
The Moondust bomb is far better in my opinion, you can still materialise them without wasting the energy you need for the Quen shield.
I hate wraiths. First time I stumbled across one in White Orchid I threw my controller
Wraiths are fine imo. (Playing on deathmarch mode, 1st playthrough) but those goddam water-hags and rotfiends....
imo, wraiths (noon or night) are the easiest foe to encounter, but are the scariest. second scariest would be fiends and leshen (the wendigo looking creatures). now for those guys, I slap on a lot of oil and pack up lots of food xD
I like fighting the wraiths. The noon/moon wraiths, that is. The common green ones can be a bit annoying. Especially in groups.
*Horrific Monster materializes out of thin air*
Geralt: Slowly stands up like a dad that has to get the remote
Should be titled "The tragedy of Noonraves and Nightraves, a tale of getting fucking lit fam"
Cheecho take my like
Lemme have ur baby
Imagine being high as a kite and dance in the fields at midday in the summer until you pass out of heatstroke!
Spent the whole video hearing Moon-Raves and Night-Raves. Imagine these gals busting some moves.
FERD
Gotta love the Aussie* accent. I personally like Youchube
Well they are seen dancing from a distance
It's not so much an Aussie accent thing, it's called Th-fronting. it's not actually anything to do with the Aussie accent.
@@eliexe6916 What's it, then? Some sort of speech impediment?
@@fuzzydunlop7928 It's typically a cockney feature that's common in a few English dialects and in non-native speakers. Often seen as "low-English" but is fairly common and widespread. Notably common around Bristol, London, and Essex. It's not uncommon in some parts of Australia, mainly the gold coast thanks to lots of Londoners settling there during the gold rush, but it's not a typical feature of Australian accents.
Noonwraiths are definitely a surprise to me, as in most fantasy, incorporeal undead are often only seen coming out at night or lurking in dark places. A farm field at high noon is the last place I would expect to meet a specter.

AHHH shit hes trying to preform a summoning ritual.
@THE CONFEDERACY WAS THE ORIGINAL SHITHOLE COUNTRY I love your username.
Ok mike
in the Philippines we have creaturels like noonwraiths, they are called "white ladies". White Ladies, indigenously known as kaperosa, are popular ghost story topics in the Philippines. White Ladies are often used to convey horror and mystery to young children for storytelling. Sightings of White Ladies are common around the country. The most prominent one is the White Lady of Balete Drive in Quezon City. It is said that it is the ghost of a long-haired woman in a white dress who, according to legend, died in a car accident while driving along Balete Drive. Most stories about her were told by taxi drivers doing the graveyard shift, such as when a taxi crosses Balete Drive, and a stunning woman is asking for a ride. The cabbie then looks behind and sees the woman's face was full of blood and bruises, causing him to abandon his taxi in terror.
In other instances, it is said that when solitary people drive on that street in the early morning, they briefly see the face of a white-clad woman in the rear-view mirror before she quickly disappears. Some accidents on this road are blamed on apparitions of the White Lady.
Many sources have said a reporter manufactured this legend in the 1950s as a combination of multiple stories from the area.
When me and my siblings were young, our parents constantly scare us about White Ladies to scare us so that we run back home, they keep tellig us not to play during "midday" and "midnight" or the white lady might get us.
yes. I also noticed the types of wraiths similar to what we have in the archipelago. especially those who appear at certain times of the day. although i cant remember anything like the pesta.
I'm really glad you're putting out lore for the Witcher 3. After playing thoroughly and getting all the achievements I noticed no one really delved into how deep this game really is besides Proper Bird. Glad to see it getting more recognition.
I like these witcher videos.
Saw the title *immediately likes because it knows quality content is on it's way*
These things never fail to creep me out so badly
by the way...already played Witcher 3 multiple times...there are a couple of noonwraiths and nightwraiths outside Novigrad...one near seven cat's inn and the other near the ballista near Carsten...I wonder if they have a quest or just random wraiths
Witcher 3 best game 2017.... even though it didnt come out in 2017
One of the few masterpiece for the ages
Zurin arctus *I Will Redeem The Land of Shadow** right on!

Zurin Arctus nah he’s just got cat scratch fever 😎
I’m loving these Witcher videos! It’s my favourite game and book series of all time!! And you do such a good job on these!
“As the old saying goes...Nation wide is on your side” damn ads
This is the thing I love most about the Witcher - the story is just as much about Geralt & Co. as it is about the monsters of the world. There's so much detail and information about what you're fighting that makes the experience just amazing. It's not just another typical video game enemy, they all have extensive lore that's worked straight into the quests.
Really hope you guys keep making these. I love how they're put together.
honestly mate your lore video's on the witcher are the best ones out there. You have actual original dialogue and custom footage, you really make it entertaining instead of just listing facts. Just wanted to let you know its appreciated, really cool!
"Disliking to being seen, they force anyone caught watching them to join them until the drop." Could that be a reference to the dancing plague of 1518?
Finally!!! I've been wanting someone to make videos solely about the creatures and the mythos behind them for so longggg!! You're a bad ass dude.
5 54 am. I jumped outta bed to see this. It's my bday and I'm more excited about this. Lol
Bat Mon happy bday
Happy Birthday man!
Bat Mon happy birthday
Happy birthday stranger. Have a good one.
Bat Mon hope you had a nice bday
Must've played Jenny O' the Woods 25 times. I wasn't prepared & got caught in a last save => Die loop. Just the name scares Geralt & I now. Roach was off somewhere eating a peasant's roof so she thinks I'm over reacting . Stupid horse.
Man growing up in a village my parents always gave me shit for playing in the fields during noon and they always made me come home before 10pm any other slavs had that when you were young?
I'm a Slav, and no. No slavic parent or any other person would believe in this nonsense. Your parents just didn't want you to get sunstroke, or a sunburn and this would be the same in any other part of the world.
Ka Kerei I grew up in a village near the countryside where people there are very superstitious all year around we do all kinds of weird holidays. I asked if anyone else grew up in a similar way.
Where are you from, then?
Ka Kerei Bulgaria
Hristo T. Nikolov Grettings neighbor, i'm Romanian and my grandma used to tell me all kinds of bs when i was young.
Love these vids, keep them coming!!
Love your videos man. You do such a great job narrating and educating us on Witcher lore. Keep it up! 👍
Do a video on botchlings!
What an excellent video! Thanks for uploading.
amazing video thank you so much for creating it
Did you ever hear the tragedy of the Wraiths? I thought not... It's not a story the Witchers would tell...
Did you ever consider the tragedy of believing a wrong could be corrected with yet another wrong and ponder the eventual due consequences of such a belief?
Thanks for the video. Pls make more Witcher video's.
Keep this stuff coming. It's fracking awsome.
Great video friend. Keep up the great work.
Witcher Ghost >>> Elder scrolls ghost
Luigi's Mansion Ghost >>> Witcher ghost >>> Elder Scrolls ghost
JakTheGrey 😂😂😂 YES!!
Tony Gartrell JR. WHO DARES DISTURB THE

JakTheGrey Ghostbusters ghosts >>>Luigi's Manson ghosts >>> Witcher ghosts>>> Elder Scrolls ghosts
Love your videos. Informative and intriguing
Please make video on Conjuction of the Spheres! Great video
Took me a long time to make the link between the Noonwraiths and the "Polednice" monster I read mythology stories about. So cool
Thank you for positng a great video! these wraiths always creeped me out. Especially jenny of the woods.
I love this lore series, please keep going!!
These videos are amazing. Can you make a video on the crones next? Thanks
I am glade you made these as it helps fight them in the augmentation of reality
dude. plz make more of this. it's awesome content. congratulations. u have a very good narrative. i'd like to play D&D with a master like u. lol
Glad to see my favorite game on your channel
You make great videos!
This series is fantastic! Great work!
Do gaunter o dim next
Ashton H ive tried to research him but there isnt more to him then what gets told in the game.
He is an evil demon/spirit and his name Gaunter o dim can be shortend to GOD
There is a lot of information about him actually but I think Drew will cover more generic stuff first. :)
Didn't even think about the acronym for his name, that's pretty spooky
very curious what the next bit of lore is going to be :) really enjoy these thus far :)
2:15
Not really, I mean I thought I saw I giant chicken once in Toussiant, but as I got closer it turned out to be just a Noon Wraith instead.
yes do more of these, witcher has so much potential
Keep the Witcher 3 vids coming!!!
An excellent physical description, sir.
I'm currently revisiting The Witcher 3 to do a Death March playthrough (caught the 'rona so I've been stuck at home) and came across these lore videos in between sessions. They really add extra meat to the experience. Thanks!
Wonderful video! =D
Thanks Drew. More vids please..
Just started playing witcher 3, great game, and this vid has only made it better for me
Should do a video about the Crones!
returned to this video almost a year after. still great )
Damn your videos hit the spot!!
Can you do a video on what is known about the different religions and cults in The Witcher? What are those tiny houses with horseshoes?
Once again, nailed it.
Is the original person supposedly directly in control of the wraith? Or is the wraith a separate entity with the person imprisoned inside?
Good stuff.
Do a video on the Wild Hunt itself, and specially on Gauntem o'Dimm!
After spending some time in Gerald's world, you realize our world isn't as bad. Bad, but not that bad.
This was scary man !! OMG never been scared in my life .
Love this series ~ got me playing Witcher 3 again lol
I saw two noonwraiths roaming a field twice. Didn't even bother to find out why. Damn :(
Południca & Północnica!
You should do one about those witches who live in the swamp
LOL Drew's dramatic diction and narrating is hileraious and immersive. Damn Drew
You should do a video on the crones
With captions it’s says noon raves and night raves. Been to a few night raves but never a noon rave :)
How do you make those 3D in game pictures? Do you use a mod to stop time in game and then walk around?
I think banishing them is the ultimate kindness
Very interesting, I enjoy Witcher Lore, Cheers
I’m late af but I love Witcher lore videos 😭💜
I'm loving these Witcher more videos. Maybe at sometime you could also, possibly, do Dragon Age lore as well
Gavlin The Enchanimator U right
I couldn't really get into the Dragon age games, already the last one.
these creatures are testiment to the ancient words of wisdom
Man knoweth know wrath like that of a woman scourned
True lol
Next I'd like to see a video on Katakanas and Ekinimaras
Awesome! 😀
Please make a the witcher 3 lore
Wow, i really should ply the witcher 3 or 2 one of these days. This video already shows me how deep the lore of this whole world is. I legitly felt sorrow for them throughout the video I even almost burst into tears. If they really existed i wouldn't be able to strike them down because of the flood of sorrow they would release upon resurrection.
the creatures of witcher 3 were so terrifying. love it.
How sad. Great story telling btw. You guys are very good at telling stories and you don't sound like your trying too hard like some other youtubers.
gonna have nightmares, thanks.
the night-wraith reminds me a little of the grey lady in its origin story being the ghost of a bride although they usually haunt the place the wedding would have taken place. There's one said to haunt the Halls of Alvaston Hall as well as several cathedrals and churches throughout Britain
Since you started these I have bought the witcher trilogy, thanks mate.
Klaras full story was such an amazing start to this game
Loved it. Give us more to satisfy our appetite. Our maybe youll be haunted in the twight hours lol
you could make a video about the Ulfhedinn
Would be cool to have these as a audio book series
I always wondered why normal Wraiths Carry lanterns. Poes in Zelda do the same thing, I wonder where it comes from
Would be cool if you also included the reallife mythological inspiration of the witcher creatures in your videos.
These wraiths are clearly inspired by the slavic Wili. Spirits of Brides who died before the Wedding. The Ballet "Giselle" is a story about Wili.
Great, now I have to play my 10th witcher playthrough ;)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't these rooted in slavic mythology? I seem to remember something about it being in russian folklore.
That's very likely the crones are based on a Slavic legend so it seems likely that a lot of other creatures would be
Its literally in the vid after minute 9 or so
does anyone knows which song is he using? i searched from the witcher 3 ost and its similar to the "ladies of the woods" but its not the same
