- PACIFIC OCEAN (July 28, 2022) Ships sail in formation during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022, July 28. Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, three submarines, more than 30 unmanned systems, approximately 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans. RIMPAC 2022 is the 28th exercise in the series that began in 1971. (U.S. Navy video by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Lake Fultz)

Just imagine that the worlds most powerful warships lurk beneath the surface, shadowing these surface ships. SSN and SSBN. An enormous Naval power to say the least.
@chunguss These SSNBN vessels carry more fire power than this display of warships even if they were fully armed.
These are allied vessels and I am sure most of them deploy advanced radar systems.

What’s the difference between a LHD vs a LHA?
@@CCMBA3 The main difference between an LHA and LHD is that the LHA doesn't have a well deck for waterborne Amphibious launches. But the next few newer LHAs will have a well deck. So there won't be much of a difference between the two classes.

The Philippines has been part in Rimpac and this time we've sent out the most advance warship the BRP Antonio Luna..
Greetings to all the Allied Nations from the Philippine Islands.. sending our Love and Support ❤️❤️❤️
Me too, ❤️❤️❤️
But from a strategic point of view, (Given the latest threats of war) I think that the formation. Could be wiped out with a single nuke if the enemy needed to reduce the combat capability of its ( perceived ) enemy quickly In order to survive itself.. ! … Just my personal opinion, you don’t need to reply with what would happen to the enemy if they did so, ( I already know );
But in a WW3 scenario all the dice would be off the table, No one knows quite how an enemy ( being vanquished) would do as a last ditch attempt to redress any balance of power being lost ! Just my opinion here… can someone please reply ….
@@barryhill1044 idk about that, us actively uses nukes on older ships to then improve the newer ones
@@barryhill1044 Zero chance a nuke unless super sonic would penetrate this anti air shield!
There's our BRP Antonio Luna :)

An amazing display of POWER and MIGHT of the MOST POWERFUL NAVY in the world the U.S. NAVY. As a FILIPINO-AMERICAN it evokes in me a strong feeling of PATRIOTIC PRIDE. My only precious child, my beloved son serves in the U.S. NAVY as well, as a NAVY MEDIC!🙏💖🙏

I'm so glad that I saw the Philippine flag flying high and proud ..God bless those nations
I hope one day while I’m still in the navy I can participate in this, it would be so cool on lookout and just seeing all the different ships
Makes me miss the Navy at times like these. Maintaining position in a large formation and hearing tactical signals on the radio.

Been part of a few RIMPACS..
Is the Tripoli in Japan or is it undergoing maintenance or something right now?
USS America LHA 6 is in Sasebo, Japan. Tripoli is in San Diego
In a main guns only fight, could one or two WW2 Battleships take them all on?
That's a good question if 2 ww2 battleship were to be plopped right next to them in knife range while the rimpac ships are not at general quarters the 2 battleships would cause havoc on the rimpac fleet. The 5 inch guns alone would mess up the rimpac ships. Ww2 Iowa's had a whole broadside full of them on top of the 20mm and 40mm guns that could actually punch through modern destroyers. The 16 inch guns one broadside could cripple a Carrier
@@joeswanson733 I agree. A teleported in battleship could smash em into a panicked mess. Navy's are weird. One Nuke puts them all under, no civilians killed.
My grandpa told me it looked like RIMPAC 84 the one he was in
They make a great targets for China's DF-17
WW2 fleet sails Formation is the Best
I can imagine the amount of AA Fire would shoot out from every ship when theres enemy aircraft or missile lol
problem wih the CIWS is that it runs out of ammo very fast.
Other ships dont use CIWS but missiles to for them to run out of bullets is a dumb thing . Unless 1000 planes attack together in any directions.
incredible formation
it's a standard line formation...
@@joeswanson733 no one ask.
our Philippines Pride ..
Am I the only one who see a black point that seems hovering incredibly fast on top of boat starting at 1:04? What is that?
Thats something on the camera lens, the video is stabilized so it is smaller than it was raw. The video your seeing is actually moving around but it has a reference its constantly keeping centered, if it showed the entire video you would see the viewport for the stabilized video moving around to keep the reference in the center. If it was too shaky you would see more movement as the reference goes out of the viewport and cant be centered.
USS Michael Monsoor 🔥🔥🔥
Incredible video forces united wordl
At 1:48 sec above the ship what was that moving around the clouds ?? 🤔. A black dot or something, must be apart of the camera lense

This is cool like in ww2 with the massive fleets.
its just 38 ships and this is all allied nations in rimpac.. the usn in ww2 one task force had more ships than a rimpac fleet...

Bad ass!!!
"Dont fuck with the Jedi master, son"
Go get 'em Swabbies! We'll be right behind ya! 😏
This is where the aliens will land from the Battleship movie haha
and wipe out the whole fleet.
The USN, JMSDF, RAN, and the South Korean Navy combined must always be stronger than the PLAN and the Russian Navy in the Pacific.
The usn is functionally more powerful by itself. Have more tin-can boat doesn’t make you more powerful.
Now when you combine the USN and it’s wonderful Allies….you have a true force that’s a serious problem for the Russ and the PLAn
There where a lot more participants than that !
@H L no, the USN alone is stronger than the PLAAN and PLAAF together, just their SSBN force alone has the potential to turn all of the PRC’s major population centres into a smoking hole, but sensible nations know that making friends is better than spruiking threats.
@H L Each and every PLAN SSBN is shadowed by an SSN from the moment it leaves port. The Xia class (1) is equiped with JL-1 B missiles - they have a 2500 km range so they’d have to be about 1300km to the west of Hawaii to strike the continental US. The Jin class (6) are equipped with the same missiles (the JL-2 are planned, but suffer from several issues, including KDoing).
Dude, it’s best to get your facts straight before trying to act tough 😂
@H L mate, you really have no idea, and as my grandpa used to say, “don’t argue with idiots, they’ll just drag you down”. I’m not going to bother arguing with you, draw whatever implication from that that you like.
Is the USA's PR program.
Big Brother watching from the sky and underneath tracking systems....
Is this the part that alien shows up and put some barriers?
Where is the PLA Hiding?
