Up to what thickness can this machine cut leather?
Very nice! Just one thought: apart from cutting thick leather, everything else can be done in the Explore too, which is much cheaper.

With a transfer tape (or contact paper) it would be easier to stick that stencil onto the leather. Nice job, though!

Whats the thickest leather you have cut on the cricut ? I like to work on veg tan .
i've cut 7-8 oz. It takes about 10 passes though.
Was that a one time use stencil?
it was just regular vinyl!
What did you put on the leather before you cut it out?
I just dampen the leather a bit with water
Where do you source your leather?
I get it from a variety of places! Tandy leather is a good one as they have stores across North America.
Canada: OA Leather Supply, Hand and Sew Leather
USA: Weaver Leather, District Leather, Acadia Leather, Springfield Leather, Maverick Leather
What leather and marker do you use?
I'm using 5-6 oz vegetable tanned leather (see the description to see leather suppliers) and I'm using a sharpie.
@@SpringbokCraftCo That last big marker you used was a sharpie? That you used with the stencil? Does it run eventually or bleed at all?
How thick of leather can it actually cut out?
I wouldn't go much more than 6 or 7 oz.

Wow, still horrible how the cricut cuts out the letters in leather. I'll just do it myself. A lot of money for mediocre results. I'd rather buy a $5000 laser.
