My humble request for you guys is to visit more places like Wales. I feel like most youtubers are doing travel vlogs to places that are pretty predictable. I would be more excited to watch travel vlogs of places most people barely knew it even existed. Sometimes these places just stores more incredible and beautiful sights.
+Patricia Moore that's our vibe Patricia. We are planning some epic trips to some incredible but overlooked places. Stay Tuned!! Where would you want us to visit??
Love this..I'm local to Conwy...we used to sneak into the castle at night...So different and spookier...if you were in one of the turrets when a train went past...it sounded like a dragon,,,
As a Welshman I think you've really done us justice! I've visited the States a few times and am always explaining to locals what Wales is as so many people think we're English. You've really shown off our little corner of the UK so thank you! I live in Cardiff and you showed me things I didn't even know about! Also, fun fact, the castle scenes in Willow were filmed in Snowdonia 😁 I've only just discovered this channel but will definitely be sharing! Diolch yn fawr iawn! Thank you very much!
I really love how you guys geek out with history and classic movies, haha. Definitely sets your channel apart and makes me excited to watch every new video you post.
you would also be interested to know then that 13 of your original signatures on the declaration of indipendance was of welsh origin, even abe lincoln has welsh writing on his statue
I'm living in Swansea and it's nice to see you Yanks take an interest in my country. Your videos are the best TV to come out of the States since NCIS. Keep it up boys !
I’m from Cardiff, but my favourite part of Wales are definitely the mountains - The Brecon Beacons, around 45 miles north of Cardiff, and especially the Snowdonia mountain district in North Wales! If you are not a mountain hiker, did you know that there is a small train service that takes you to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain, Yr Wyddfa? It’s one of the most beautiful (summer) destinations I know!!
I loved this video! Castles are so fascinating... And I loved all those historical facts, History fascinates me! Looking forward to the next videos of this series. And I will do my best to contribute with subtitles in Portuguese.
I love Conwy so much! It was my first castle and it was astounded by how beautiful the castle and town were! I felt like I could've stayed for hours at the castle listening to the history of the place. Great video!
Yes! Conwy is amazing - went a few weeks ago and it managed to snow, rain and be completely sunny all in a few hours. The joys of living in north Wales!
Wow!!! Guys, this is so far in my humble opinion your best video. I liked everything, picture, music, editing, and what liked me the most; the small interview to Pete Crane, and expert local. Way to go Vagabrothers!!! Notifications on, Like on. Good job.
We're considered older than the Celts :) and we have nothing to do with the Germanic Anglo Saxons. in the early 2000's, thousands of DNA tests we're done across east England through wales and they had Germanic DNA while us welsh was a lot different :) There's an old video floating around from a new's report on the subject stating if you want to meet a true Briton come to wales.
BC Joshiee. Yes that's true. We are always told about the myth of King Arthur yet it isn't a myth it's true. The Welsh hystory has been suppressed and changed over hundreds of years. Great video though.
Quillo Lol...you beaut ! Germanic indeed. Pfft ! The Normans built the castles. Remember them ? The ones that invaded England in 1066. Come on now...do try to keep up. ;-)
I'm so happy that your doing vlogging series in Wales ! its such an under rated place and can rival any place with its beauty and culture. Its also my home 😏. Please do more vlogs in Wales !!!!
+Christopher Jones we loved Wales! Stay tuned Christopher we have 3 more Wales vlogs ( next goes live tomorrow) so turn on notifications so you don't miss it and share the series with your friends and family 🤙🏽
Glad you're loving Wales! Are you visiting Cardiff? It's such a fantastic city and a amazing contrast to the rest of Wales, while still maintaining the Welsh culture (plus there is a castle right in the centre!) Cymru am byth!
cracking video the welsh are the original british people been in the uk the longhest. you 2 are advertising wales and showing how beautiful the places are and our history more than any welsh mp or am plus the people in power in london. people forget there 4 countrys in the uk not just 1. great video.
I'm glad you enjoyed your time in my country .Rwy'n gobeithio y byddwch chi'n dod eto! Very well done , with excellent camera work . If you do get stuck in the mud at the side of the road again. Try putting the foot mats under the back wheels . It may give you enough momentum to get traction and get out .
i really love how you guys teach us a lot of lessons about history. If we can just hop on a time machine, go back in time and experience what it's like living in a time and place like that.
Are you crazy?!! Most Welsh would kill to relocate to somewhere that had a Californian climate! The British climate is very dour, even for us!! (We are kind of used to it though...)
thank you so much for the great video about the castle. there is so much more history to be told about the other castles in the ring of iron and I hope one day you could come back and see more of it. I am part of a medieval reenactment group and would be happy to show you around the best ones
Only just discovered your channel, very well presented and as a Welsh man I have to say how refreshing it is to see Americans understand that the British Isles is more than England and that Wales is a nation ( ruled by England) we have our own language (which is on the disk of the voerger crafts) and a strong identity and culture.
I love it when your inner teacher comes out 😁 Seriously, I can see your passion for the topics and that is the most important part 😊 And I really like your choice of music, not very common mixing hip hop-esk songs with pictures of medieval castles and towns 😊
+Hannah Nicole awesome!! Galway is such a cool city you're going to love it. Make sure you go spend a weekend in the Aran Islands! Where are you from Hannah?
You may well know this by now, but Galway is awesome! My home away from home. I go there every year as my friend owns the Kai Cafe & Restaurant on Sea Road. (Shameless plug - go eat there! It's amazing! ;) )
Yay! I've been to Conwy castle on my school trip across England. The view is just amazing! Hope I'll come back again. This series just makes me want to live in Wales. :)
Yr haf hwn, byddaf yn mynd i Gogledd Cymru, felly yr wyf yn gobeithio gallu i ymarfer y Gymraeg! Rwy'n cael trafferth gyda "treigladau".(I think that's the right word, "mutation" as when the first letter of a word changes)
Love hearing about the history of the places you visit. I'm currently planning my gap year and I'm trying to decide where I want to go. At the moment I'm between Italy, Greece, and Spain...
Hahah love the PLT! & I love when you guys talk about histories like this, can't wait to see more! & ooh the castle looks amazing... That amazing feeling of walking into centuries old buildings and wondering about what kind of life happened there back then
amazing videos guys! If you ever come back to Wales i suggest going to Penarth I don't live there just love it, thanks for giving me something to watch!
You guys should go to Cornwall, England. I've been there and there's a shipwreck museum, fishing and boat trips, and a glimpse or real British culture. I really liked it =-)

Vagabrothers hope you are enjoying your wales trip. It is a beautiful place and much to do and see, if you get a chance a place called cemas bay is definitely worth visiting I am enjoying your vlogs keep up the excellent work.
The welsh coastline along the southern coastline extended 70 miles into what is now part of the channel, so transporting the stones at the time stonehenge was built was very different to the current coastline of South Wales
did you know, that "doorne, in the game of thrones, was inspired by wales" ... also where do you think the dragon legend orignated?? if you have heard elvish in lord of the rings**,. then you already know something like welsh**, the welsh history and language pre date anglo saxon * roman britain, so its ancient, very old... everything from the national eiseddfodd, too the international eisteddfod is part of welsh culture... yes the home of king arthur, just one of many places laying claim to merlin, like cornwall, brittany too..
The Vale is more inspired by Wales geographically, with Snowdonia's welsh name being "Eyrie" and the mountain strongholds that proved insurmountable to penetrate. And in GoT, the title of heir to the throne is 'Prince of Dragonstone", a spin on "Prince of Wales". Also GRRM has stated flatly that the character of Tywin is chiefly inspired by Edward I and his famous demeanor, the relationship between Tywin and Tytos and Edward I and Henry III mirrors almost perfectly. So yeah
Great pub ( Liverpool arms ) near smallest house in Great Britain in Conwy harbor . Guys I live down the road , I'd have bought you a beer if I'd known .
I'm always fascinated to see Americans learning/talking about Wales because compared to England, Scotland and Ireland it isn't represented much in the international media (we don't have a Willie from Simpsons)
Great video, guys, but I can't believe you drove through Machynlleth and didn't mention the seat of Owain Glyndŵr's Welsh Parliament. He was crowned Prince (King) of Wales in 1404 and Machynlleth was originally the ancient capital of Wales. It still has a few of the original Mediaeval houses in the town. The town is full of Welsh history.
Haha Awesome Video series guys - Thank you for visiting and sharing about our PLC Pretty Little Country lol ;-) ... Fact check: The Briton Celts originated from more South Eastern Europe than the Germanic Celts who e.g. Anglo-Saxons later settled in Britain and faught against the Briton Celts for land etc..

+Steven Cassidy exactly. You can't find these kind of vlogs!
Agree with Patricia. I would also like videoes from Poland and South Africa (although i think that Kenya, Egypt and Vietnam is maybe too tourist-y).
Excellent video!!!! I’m a beefarmer from Wales! So glad to see you taking the time and promoting Wales! Thank you! 😁🏴

A stunning place to visit ✨️ . Yes, our history is packed and well documented. 😊

It’s also so wonderful to live there
Conwy castle looks fab lit up at night during winter months .

And if you want to meet the Germanics that built all of those castles to subjugate the unruly Welsh, come to England......
ua-cam.com/video/j617mImHVvk/v-deo.html
That's outdated afaik. Recent studies show the impact of the Anglo-Saxons on the genetics of England was more of a merger than a outright takeover.
Quillo Lol...you beaut ! Germanic indeed. Pfft !
The Normans built the castles. Remember them ? The ones that invaded England in 1066. Come on now...do try to keep up. ;-)
The music in this is so mismatched
