I just did this swap. The factory spare tire cover will work on new style bumper. U will need the trailer plug an it will plug right into factory harness. An u need license plate lights. If you are gonna wrap it. Take the pad off while the bumper is off the truck if u go that route. Easier to reassemble the pad when off the truck. Easy swap.
Awesome vid, just picked up a 2013 Chevy Silverado z71 LT That rear sliding window where you get that? Mine has the option but buddy must have smashed it when he had his.
This sliding window is off a Nissan Titan. It’s just held on by window glue and the electrical is also ran. The Titan window does need a drainage area and some of the rear can cut so be warned
Video has no actual videos of the internal bumper bolt removal. Lots of video of sockets and outside of bumper. It is an interesting video, though.@@ArcFireX
for the tow hitch, were you able to connect the original tow hitch to the new bumper? I know on the original bumper is connected to the tow hitch on the bottom of the bumper
@@ArcFireX I apreciate it i was watching videos of people trying to install the 2500/3500 ones and they were running into issues left and right but i noticed where the hitch goes was bigger then the area on yours saved me from the accidentally buying the wrong one thank you

Yes, you don’t have to move the tow hitch, only the two tow hitch bolts that connect to the 7-13 bumper
