@@ah4800Full bridge is better for bass than half bridge. You should read the white papers from International Rectifier (the company makes the vast majority of components used in audio amplification) on Class D amps (Titled "Application Note AN1071") because it explains in technical detail why full bridge is preferable to half bridge for tones below 100hz. I would also recommend watching Barevids video on the subject because it breaks it down extremely well. He also has a video where they switch between a Taramps and a Crown designed JBL amp, and they can't tell the difference. But I'm sure you know class D amplifiers better than both IR and Barevids.
@@AudioAddict. you absolutely can if you have the electrical to support it, tho if you end up blowing the amp sundown may not support it as some companies do not warranty .5 ohm loads.
yup now take it off the dyno sense it does not take impedance into account, install it in a system with subs then do a clamp test to get real world numbers, not marketing numbers. just dont be upset when youre not seeing the power the dyno is showing.
Yes, we all know what impedance rise is. Kind of hard for amp manufacturers to rate taking it into account, since every system varies. This is the tried and true method of rating an amp. A 1 OHM resistive load is a lot harder on an amp than wiring a sub to 1 OHM and testing. By using a resistive load on a dyno, you can actually stress an amp a lot more than you can by using a subwoofer. By rating using a dyno, you give a baseline and a standard consumers can use to compare amps.
@@SeanOMatic youre 100% correct so lets put an amp on a dyno and show people what they wont actually get. youre 100% correct every dsystem is different which even further backs my point of dyno results mean zero. as you saying you can stress an amp alot more then using a subwoofer, thats a complete crock, a subwoofer beings impedance into the mix which causes even more stress on an amp as the amp has then gotta push harder to achieve the same results as on a dyno. dyynos give out of the box numbers not real life numbers. real life is installed in a car clamp tested or using term labs. quite funny how sundown used to make videos showing what amps can do installed in a system tho they havent done that in a while.

Do not run this amp at 1 ohm! I've blown up 2 of these amps on 2 incriminator 12s. My local sound shop recommended this amp but didn't tell me they wired it to 1 ohm. It will blow if you push it!
Let's goooo! Derrick posting like crazy again I'm loving it...
why wouldnt he lol hes gotta market for sundown, gotta keep people buying sundown. some of us tho dont buy a name we buy the product.
I love this amp and I figured it was underrated 🤘
I picked up one of these at the TDH show in march. Been pretty happy with it other than a weird whine coming from the amp until music kicks on
Got one of these a couple months ago. I still need to beef up my electrical before I install it. Can’t wait!
I have that same amp also
Can we see a dyno on the saev3-1500d, I'd really love to see how it performs in comparison to rated specs as well
Definitely need that onlysundown sticker 🤣🤣🤣 that’s amazing
I have a sae v3 2500 and a sia 3500,my question is which one is better for sq an not so much for power output.

Finally got my s/m fitted hat delivered yesterday and they're almost completely out of stock please restock them so I can wear a better color lol
Damn! A 3000 watt Amp for $230? That's a freaking steal. Especially for a quality name brand product. That's insane.
its called on sale smh.

Korean design. Korean design on tons of amps that are built in China. You thought all korean design were built in korea?

Dyno the SIA 2500 soon plz
Hook that thing up to the new kicker if it does good ill buy one
He works for sundown audio I don’t think he’ll be showing off any shitty products from kicker😂
Might wanna rename that test day. Amp test Tuesday is already taken
Not bad. Glad i picked the b2 2500.1 instead. Does about 3400 watts
I bet it wasn't the same price lol
@drrckhamilton it was $799 cad.
My smart 3 was cheaper, makes more power and it's more efficient if you're wired below 1.4 ohm
@BlueTegu360 yeah sure buts it's a full bridge cheap amp 🤮
