The fact that he thought of taking you to jeevanjee is a dealbreaker on its own,😂 That park as we speak is so unkept and since they started renovation it got to a point they abandoned it,from landscaping etc it just looks awful, there are several other parks he should have taken you, I wonder what was this in Jeevanjee that he felt fit for him to take you there
@@wilfredemayot6969 Imagine, and the way our lady was so excited about the city, But on the issue about the park ,she pretended to be excited about it just because she was trying to be kind but deep down im sure she was disappointed & wasnt expecting that especially on the high end side of the city that she had already treasured, Honestly it was an eyesore,im hoping he will not be part of this in future 😂 We need tourguides who understands well areas of attraction to take guests, others are just an embarrassment
It was kind of you to bless the young man...blessings. You can use Harry Thuku road as a short cut to Westlands as it joins Waiyaki Way at the Museum Hill. If you had time, you could have walked that way but there is always another time.
Taking her to jeevanjee gardens instead of Uhuru Park, WOW! what a good guide you have!!! Bro, is that where you take our visitor? The back side of the kitchen where we store our trash?
In Kenya we don't call this places Park,we call them gardens because they are small places within the city to chill.. good content...we have central park very close to where you were and aboretum..I love how you supported and encouraged Robin May God bless you
Jeevanjee gardens is under renovation and the renovation seems to have been abandoned. If he was to take you to Michuki gardens further at Globe roundabout it would have been a worthwhile adventure. About Jeevanjee gardens it was donated to Nairobi by Mr. Alibhai Jeevanjee in 1906 with the various sculptures done back then. The sculpture of Mr. Jeevanjee and Queen Victoria used to stand there, not sure where they were taken. It's one of the green areas of the CBD and hope it's renovation will be finished in time as currently its an eyesore
What is cool in that garden😂 ,our tourguide let us down, there are many better parks he should have taken Harriet ,Jeevanjee was abandoned and its sadly in the uptown areas where things should be fancy, its an embarrssment evwn when you watch, the tourguide seems to have been absolutely out of options 🤔
Jeevanjee Gardens was well maintained sometimes back but it seems it has been neglected. Maybe someone wanted to grab it and set up a house. Hope it will be renovated soonest.
Amazing view along University Highway. Been away for several years. So it takes a Ugandan babe to take me down memory lane in order to appreciate the new view from what used to be a two way lanes avenue.
