Yes you get just what you pay for thay have some canvas 25 lbs. 500.00 $ tents a 8 person tent that is 2lbs won't last 2 days with kids
On the other hand if they had just used a fabric treated with UV blocker, it wouldn't disintegrate like that so quickly.
So don't live in a tent for 2 months, gotcha.
No tent is intended to be pitched and left up all summer if it fades you killed it

The reality is this no tent like this is going to last two months and direct sun when I say it like this I mean in this weight material category if you want to leave something set up all summer you should have invested in a thousand $2,000 canvas tent. This video only proves you don't know what you're talkin about this tent has plenty of shortcomings and you touched on some of them but you know what I didn't see what I was looking for in this video as I'm trying to find ways to keep water out the lower part of the time and stretch it out your complaints just proves you know nothing about camping in tents and general also your water problem on the floor has to do with that huge tarp that comes out from under the tent it collects water and guess where it brings it right under your floor that's why it's leaking so tell me you don't know but what you're talkin about in one picture and that said it all
I think you're wrong, they obviously did not put any uv protection on most of the materials. And it started ripping after a month.
I just bought this and I’m wondering if I should take it back 😭 I don’t camp very often and I only camp a day or 2 at a time so maybe it’ll be fine ?
Maybe you'll be fine, especially if you set it under a shade. You need to think if the price to use works for you. You'll probably get 20 uses of it, if you use it 2 days at a time.
I think the biggest problem with this tent is that the fabric is not UV protected.
